Didn’t get through one steak to make jerky and burnt through both gears. Not sure if the parts or the machine are garbage. Recommend a different brand though

Could be a metal one
It was a perfect fit but on the first use on the machine it wore down quickly, this part should be made of metal as all other parts are metal, the gear on the blade is plastic it should also be of metal, the heat from use strips it down quickly
