Great for in-house networking
I have a couple Xboxes, computers, Apple TVs - you get the idea. This little box helps you more than you might think. I ran a single Ethernet from my modem to two separate rooms, and I used this to connect all Ethernet devices without issue. Just plug in the power source and the main Ethernet, and that’s it. Youre ready to use this with any device that can take advantage of raw, corded power.

The switch you always have with you
So I ordered this, as a travel switch for vacations, and one to just have in my bag (I'm in IT) and this really fits the bill.It is small. A little smaller than a deck of playing cards. And while the power connector on the switch side is a barrel connector, the other side of the cord is a standard USB - so you can run it off the USB adapter you have with you, or off a USB battery pack. It does include a USB power plug - but I have a drawer full of those these days. The only way I could really see to improve this would be if the switch side of the power cord was also USB - they you could use an USB cord as well. Along with my little Mikrotek router (about the size of a matchbox) and a handful of really small Ethernet cables, you have a whole network in your pocket. Recommended.

Gets the job done with no fuss.
This gets the job done with minimal effort. It's plug and play for up to 4 devices at a time as long as you leave one port for the actual internet connection. If you are doing a LAN party then you could connect up to 5 devices if you wanted to. I use this in my office to connect several computers to my internet. I despise wireless because often it doesn't work like it should. With a wired connection, it just works without any issues. I wholeheartedly recommend this product.

It doesn’t work
This product should be a no brainer to use. It should be plug and play. All I wanted to do was connect via Ethernet my MacPro desktop and my Airport WiFi transmitter (as all other Ethernet ports were occupied). It simply does not work. It won’t connect two simple devices so they can be used at the same time - which is the only reason I brought it. I have checked all the cables and they work fine. This simple little box is simply a dud.

Easy to install, its been working for over a year, and it wasn't too expensive.
I prefer hardwire over wireless connections. I prefer to save my wireless bandwidth for my wireless devices. Now that everything that connects to you tv, including your tv itself needs an internet connection, I needed a way to connect several devices easily. This has allowed me to run one ethernet cable and connect several devices near my tv. Its been working fine for over a year now.

Nice 5 port hub 5vdc
I purchased this hub to use I. A CNC machine I am building. I needed a small footprint and 5 ports would give me what I needed. This hub looks very sleek and operates perfectly. I liked the fact that it is 5vdc which was what I wanted.

Works Great
I got this to plug into my powerline extender to maintain signal when I shut down my machine- this works like a charm and has a very small footprint. Connected to the powerline extender, I maintain a 38-45mbps download and 10-12 upload speed which is plenty fast for what I am using this for. I highly recommend this, easy to use and setup.

No product warranty.
Works, a bit light, the cables drag it off the desk. Can't register for warranty because a serial number is required but neither the device nor the package have a serial number. Hope it doesn't break.
