These are very durable dishes , perfect for house parties

Products made from sugarcane and bamboo are more eco-friendly because they grow faster than trees. No one says, gee, look at that sugarcane. It must have been here in medieval times, right? I'm much more willing to use sugarcane products than tree, just for that reason alone. These are about as good as Chinet, my favorite brand before I found these. Frankly, I usually double them up for the added strength (same with Chinet) but they don't soak through, usually. So even with foods that aren't dry, if I check the under plate, it's usually clean and I can save it to use, again, later. It would have to be really clean to put back in the package, but sometimes, I can set it aside to use for, say, a disposable cutting board later, especially if I'm cutting up meat.

I love these plates.they are better than paper plates and they are compostable. They are the same size as dinner plates. They are very sturdy even when used in microwave. I wish they were a little less expensive but I feel if there is something I can do if able for the environment, I will do it.

Like a different plate better

Love these heavy duty, microwavable, and recyclable sugarcane plates. I much prefer them over the styrofoam type and the flimsier paper type. They are similar to the other heavy-duty paper type, but I would choose the sugarcane plates because their source is so easily sustainable. Cost was competitive. First bought 10", and it is a normal plate size. Next time couldn't find those, so bought the 9". Smaller, but still big enough.

I usually buy Chinet plates for their durability, but to save money, I chose these plates, and I am glad I did. They were perfect for the buffet that included salads...no soaking thru. I would buy again.

Not the worst paper plates, but there are better paper plates for the same price range. These have inconsistent thickness from side-to-side and are not as sturdy as the best in-class.
