It's hard to find this, it saves my iron and steam mop form limescale.

Though I truly marvel and love the idea of this product it became quickly evident that this product was not for me.How great would it be if this product was a descaler as well as a water softener to promote a preventative...More thought needs to go into the way it pours and releases the water in terms of a spout.5 stars out of five for the way it influences the water without odour. Fabrics smell fresh without trace of chemical much less perfume.

I got this because I wear mostly black and got sick of white powder spitting out of my iron/steamer and onto my clothes. I split my review into likes and dislikes so you can make a more informed purchase decision based on your specific wants and needs.Likes1. No more white powdering residue from iron left on my clothes. My steamer also works better.2. Just add water, shake and wait.3. Great value, more money saving than buying the liquid.Dislikes1. Only makes a small batch at a time which is fine for me as I only iron 2-3 items a week, but could be a nuisance if you iron for work or a family.2. The bottles a little stiff and not easy to pour.Hope this helps.

Appears to do the job, but I’m no expert in this product.Looks the same as the other product I used to use and a better price!

My whole house smells of fish every time I iron and so do the clothes. Started to get brown blobs of water marking white clothes on second fill up of iron. Decided to empty away as smell lingered for ages. Have always used ready made de ionised water so back to the ready made. No idea why a mention of lemon is mentioned as totally revolting.

If you have hard water in your area then this is brilliant solution. Works very well to prevent limescale and makes up to 20 litres. Good value for money.

I love the idea of this product. But I don't like using it. It is quite a small bottle. It takes at least 4 bottles full to fill the reservoir on our iron. That takes about 10 minutes to do.Also not sure why it comes with a spout? That is very small bore so you end up tipping the bottle up to squeeze it. That then mixes all the chemicals back into the water, whereas if you leave it upright and pour carefully with the lid off you can decant the clear water and leave the 'sediment'.Finally really not sure about the crystals turning red. They are already dark pink after about a couple of liters of water made. Overall: this has not lived up to my high hopes.
