Impressive in all regards
These are really well made and designed and also quite smart looking. I enlisted the aid of the women in my family to evaluate these but since my size is men's 7.5 to 8(D width), I can wear women's size 9(note that in European sizing, size 9 is size 40, which corresponds to my usual size). These fit me quite well so it is safe to say the toe area is indeed a bit wide for the usual women's sizing, which normally is a C width. With steel toe boots, the last thing you want is for your toes to hit up against steel, so the toe area should be roomy. The toe area with these is probably just right since even I am happy with it. These boots have removable kilties(those pieces at the bottom of the laces with a frill bottom). Kilties, which are often on golf shoes and vintage boots for both men and women, are not only for decoration. Their original purpose was to keep dirt and dust from going into the lace area, as well as to provide padding over the tongue. The innersole is also very comfortable. There are also boot straps at the back to assist in pushing the boot on. All in all, these are really impressive.

Great look and fit for every day wear
I have foot and ankle problems that require me to wear shoes that have a lot of support. I ordered these work boots because I figured that they should be engineered for people who are on their feet for long periods of time and need the support. And I was right. There isn't a high arch support inside but the boot does have a solid sole with enough support that they don't exacerbate my plantar fasciitis. They also have amazing ankle support. The blue grommets at the top allow you to tighten the boot as much as you need to as well as to wear them somewhat loose if necessary. I find that they hit just the right place on my leg to give me ankle support without feeling like my leg is immobile. My ankles can give me problems when I walk on uneven surfaces, but with these boots, I could walk on inclines and declines as well as rough, uneven surfaces without feeling ill effects. The boots are sturdy enough that surfaces that give me problems even in good sneakers were no issue at all. There are two things that prevent these from being every day shoes for me. Though both might get better over time, as I get more used to these boots, I don't know for certain. First, the steel toe is obviously going to be inflexible. I have no problem on my right foot, but on my left foot, the steel on the inner side brushes against my big toe bone. My slight bunion feels massive against this boot whereas the right boot is completely comfortable. It actually feels like the steel in the left boot is curved slightly, and that might be what's hitting bone. I'm giving it more time, though, as the boots might loosen up with more frequent wear. The other issue with these boots is that they are just so darn heavy. For a day in the park, this was noticeable but not problematic. I haven't worked up the courage to try to wear this for a full day of work yet, but need to bring an extra pair of shoes to change into about midday. Again, I think I can eventually get used to the weight, but I'm not there yet.ETA: After 6 months of ownong these, they are my favorite shoes. I get lots of compliments about them when I wear them. But more importantly, they are among my most comfortable shoes. The issue I was having with the steel toes just went away wit time. So either my foot got used to it or the boot got worn in. And the weight of the boot is just something that I got used to over time. They are still my heaviest shoes, but I'm so used to them it doesn't matter.I've also found that these go just as well with a cute dress, keggings, or jeans. And I've even worn them in the snow, where they kept my feet warm and dry and they made a quick recovery from getting wet. After being worn at least 4 or 5 times a week over the last six months, they still look practically brand new.

Solid five star offering from Honeywell!
This KING'S 6" Leather Steel Toe Work Boot with Welt Construction for women is gorgeous and beautifully made. It has a kiltie-style tongue decoration which adds a touch of fashion to the look. You can remove that if you like. The color, which is a light sand color, is gorgeous. It is a sueded leather boot. I love that it is real leather. It has an EVA insole, and a padded ankle collar so It is extremely comfortable, despite the fact that it is a steel toe work boot for hours one the job. This is definitely worth the money if your old boots need replacing, or you need a steel toed boot for your job. It meets the specs for construction, oil and gas, manufacturing, farming and equestrian, and general purpose. Solid five star offering from Honeywell!

King's (by Honeywell) Women's Steel Toed Boots
The King's Women's Steel Toed Boots are super-durable as there's a steel toe area (dah!) that could break bricks if it had to. A bit large, but I figured I could wear thick socks. The workmanship is great. All the leather feels so good and the stitching is very good. The sole is rubber-ish. I recommend wearing them soon after you receive to break them in prior to being on a construction site, etc. I like the flap below the laces which seems more feminine to me. We're doing some lawn overhauls and adding statues so these boots will certainly come in handy for heavier work to e done. I'd think these boots would be good to hike in also as it would give you good ankle support where the low-contour hiking boots don't provide. Very pleased.

Quality Flexible Multi-Purpose Boot
As a Master Gardener (ASU) am frequently ask to checkout/prune desert trees. My go-to-girl, assists in the pruning, however, last year she sustained a thorn injury. And has been a reluctant assistant - when the opportunity to obtain a pair of King's by Honeywell 6" women welted leather work boots with EVA footbed/deep rubber soles the order was placed. No doubt the King”s are a winner, she indicated the boots are very comfortable, especially likes the faded collar, and the increased stability on uneven work surfaces - see attached photo climbing a Mexican Palo Verde tree. No break-in period is a plus, reasonably priced - she likes the boots.Additional Honeywell information:Padded collarComfort fit wide toe box and molded internal heel cup;removable, high-densityEVA footbed; moisture-wicking mesh sock linerRubber outsole with deep track tread for slip-resistance; weltedconstructionMeets ASTM F2413-11 F I/75 C/75 EH; electrical hazard ratedoutsole; steel toe impact protectionRecommended use: construction, oil and gas, manufacturing, farming and equestrian, general purposeNote: Normally wears 8.5, however, size 9 fits perfectly!

Great work shoes
Well built work boot with strong sole, comfortable fit, durable exterior, and durable laces. Highly recommended. Steel toe makes them heavy but there's a reason for them.
