Impossible set up. I even had 2 other people try to program this thing. Made no sense. Returned it

Item description stated the unit can hold 500ml of oil. The unit I received only has a 150ml dispenser. Also, the programming doesn’t work and the unit is stuck in pause and won’t diffuse oil. Returning for a higher quality brand.

A few things that I didn't know before purchasing:1. This does not come with any essential oil. Make sure to order an oil that's compatible with cold air diffusers. The kind of oil used with diffuser reeds isn't the same.2. This machine is not quiet. When it is dispensing the scented air, it has a distinctive hum that sounds similar to my microwave when it's running.3. Programming the machine takes some trial-and-error. You get to pick 4 times during the day for it to turn on. Then you select how many seconds you want it to dispense, how many seconds you want it to pause dispensing, and what time to turn it off.So for example, my first cycle starts at 1500 (3pm) and turns off at 1515 (3:15 pm). During that time, it will dispense for 15 seconds then pause for 45 seconds. It will repeat that dispense/pause cycle until the clock hits 1515.The machine has a little door where the essential oil lives. It comes with an empty plastic bottle for you to pour your own oil into. The door can be locked if needed.It also comes with a coil of plastic tubing, but no explanation. I assume it's to attach to the point where the scent comes out so that you can redirect the flow if you want to.Overall, this air diffuser does what it's supposed to with a decent amount of customized programming available. In a commercial environment, I'm sure the noisy hum would never be noticeable. But when I'm sitting in my living room reading a book, it might as well scream, "Hey I'm on the job now! Here I am, doing stuff!". In my opinion, it's too loud for home use.

For those new to using a diffuser, be wary since this one doesn't come with any essential oils you'll have to procure them yourself from a third party or such. I found it quite easy to set this one up actually and was able to do it with relative ease but the main problem I have is the noise that it produces while operating. The noise sounds comparable to listening to a microwave run consistently though if you can get past that and are looking for something that gets the job done then it's a solid product.
