This is a pretty nice set. The silicone bowls can be used as stand alone for food or water. I cook for my old dog, puree and freeze the food in ice cube trays. Nice that the cubes can be thawed in the microwave in these silicone bowls. They're a tad big for our smedium size dogs, but that's my bad. Should have ordered size down. These will be great for the camper. Really easy to clean & they don't get slimy like plastic does. That's important when conserving hot water and grey tank space when not full hookups.I highly recommend these.

This is such a clever bowl! I’ve never seen a dog bowl like this. The inserts can be removed and used for preparing meals ahead of time. When I do my homemade dog food and use fresh ingredients, these work great! I can cover them and leave them in the fridge until I’m ready.Clean up is just as easy since you can take them out of the stainless steel bowl, the stainless steel bowl stays cleaner than it would normally. The inserts are durable. They are easy to come out but they aren’t so thin and wobbly that they’re difficult to use. They also have some texture on the bottom. Each one has a thumb tab to pull out the liner. It’s also textured for gripping.The stainless steel bowl is a good quality. It also has the silicone grip on the bottom which really does make it nonslip.I am very impressed by this bowl. It is made in India and it’s very good quality. It’s a neat concept and one that is really useful for my purposes. It’s also a nice size that really can work for a variety of dogs (big to small). It would be a little big for a cat but there’s no reason it couldn’t be used for a cat as well.

This is a great product for your dog while traveling. It makes clean up easy .

The point of these is definitely so you can prepare their food, take out the old bowl and put in a new bowl. It would be best for anyone that gives their cat or dog wet food that makes a bigger mess in the bowl. We don’t use wet food for our dog, so all we have to do is scoop dry food into the bowl each time. It’s still nice to have a silicon insert to clean instead of ruining the metal dog food bowl itself. We use the metal bowl and an insert for the food, and one of the silicon bowls for the water. Then we also have a third as an extra so we can put it down while we are cleaning one of the other two. The metal bowl has rubber on the bottom to stop it from slipping if you have it on harder floors.Overall these bowls are really nice and especially convenient for those who give their dog wet or fresh food versus dry food - although it works for any kind of food.

This is a set of pet feeding dishes. I received 1 metal bowl and 3 silicone-like inserts. This is different than the product description which states "Included are 2 durable stainless steel dog bowls and three inserts." It would have been nice to receive 2 metals bowls - one to use for water and one for food.The items I did receive seems to be good quality. The metal bowl is sturdy and so are the inserts. The inserts fit well into the metal bowl without being too tight or too loose.One of the silicone bowls was quite dirty when it arrived, with a thin layer of black grainy stuff in it. I was able to wash it out for the most part but there are a few smudges left.The capacity of the silicone inserts is a little less than described. I received the 4 cup size, which only holds 3.5 cups to the rim of the insert. My photos of the pink insert shows 3 cups of water in the dish which is about the maximum you could use with it without your pet causing it to overflow when drinking.These bowls are larger than I would need for my 15 lb dog, but he was able to use them ok. They would probably be better for bigger dogs.Overall a quality set - however 4 stars since description was not accurate and bowls arrived dirty.

Always looking for a good deal on dog food bowls for my dogs and when I came across this set it was a must have especially with what you were getting for a low price of $8.80. What I got was 1 stainless steel bowl with 3 rubber inserts so you can pull a dirty one out and put a clean insert in and rotate them so they are always clean. I also love the fact that the stainless steel bowl has a non-skid rubber base on the bottom to keep it in one spot and not being chased and pushed all over the floor while they are trying to eat. I'm very happy with this product and if I am ever in need of something like this again I will be sure to come back to this and order it again.

This set is nice, but as others have said, the product description is inaccurate. This set includes one metal bowl with three inserts, not two metal bowls. The inserts are grey, turquoise, and orange, and I would have preferred more subtle colors. They work great for changing out to wash the bowls and still having a clean one on hand, though three inserts are a little excessive as we hand wash them; we only ever have one dirty one at a time. The metal bowl is sturdy and has a rubber base to keep it from sliding around. Our dog gets 2 cups of food twice a day, and these are a perfect size. These are excellent quality and are good if you like to wash your food bowl regularly.

I really love this bowl set for when we are on the road. They aren't too big that they are taking up a lot of space, yet they're big enough to hold enough food & water for our boy. The bowl & inserts are very well made. I like that the inserts are BPA Free. We have zero complaints...could not be happier with these actually.
