Was not sure what to expect, it's a little jarring delivering mini electric shocks to my face but I can tell it's helping after only 3 treatments. I don't see a violet color but I smell the ozone and feel the electricity. I have another orange version (that's neon, this is argon - neon supposed to be best for anti-aging, argon for acne from what I read) and I can see it glows orange but this is more subtle, if only visually.I watched a couple videos and looks like you're supposed to hover it close to the skin, and it'll deliver the impulse a little deeper into the tissues than if you actually touch the skin. Some people use gauze to add that distance but I'm not that advanced yet. I'm starting on the very lowest setting because it's still a "shock" (haha) to shock my face but like I said, I can really tell it's doing something. The first treatment brought out some deep gunk the next day, a couple spots pushed up through the surface with sore/whitehead areas that moved through very quickly and were gone the following day. Deep cleaning detox kinda stuff.Make sure to moisturize after the treatment - I was used to doing it before and using a facial wand to drive the oils into the skin which I did with this too, but it's also drying so I'm glad I read to apply afterwards as well. I appreciate the 6 glass wands, have only used 3 so far and good to have the variety. It seems like this device really does deliver a spa-like facial treatment at home and for that the price/value for what you receive is great. I'm now a fan!

I bought this because one of my friends had one and loves it!! She spent $250 for hers and when I got this one it was the same exact thing but way more affordable. I love my purchase.

I've tried to use this device multiple times, with different attachments, and every time I have used it on the lowest setting. While I ultimately have wanted to use the device on my face, I have tried it on my hand or arm first. The tutorials make it look like you touch and even massage your skin with it, but even on the lowest setting, once I get about 1/4 of a cm from my skin, it shocks me and continues to shock me until I pull it away. Everything I've read online says you should be able to feel a buzzing sensation but that it shouldn't hurt. This hurts, I haven't been able to leave it in one spot for longer than 1-2 seconds because it's painful, and the spot continues to hurt after I use it.. I haven't used this type of device before, so I don't know if this is normal, but I personally find it to be very unpleasant to use. If you are familiar with this type of machine, maybe it will work for you, but I feel like it's not very ideal for beginners. I did also order both this one and the blue one which combines frequencies to compare, but I'm having the same struggles with both of them :(

I suppose I wasn't really sure what to expect, but when I saw the box I thought that I would throw it away until I opened it. This has glass filaments in different shapes and sizes and they fit in the foam compartments of the box. They are delicate and really need to be stored in the foam. I'm short on storage space, and if you are just know that you should plan on keeping this in the box-it's not a little device that can just be kept in a bag somewhere. I'm giving it a five because it works really well. I used it the first time on clean dry skin and was just blown away with the immediate results. This made my skin produce oil. My skin is naturally somewhat dry and by the end of my session my skin felt well moisturized though I had not put anything on it at all, and that extra oil helped decrease the chronic under eye crepe that's probably one of my biggest problems.Each time I use it, it seems to stimulate the oil production in my skin. You can smell the ozone as you use it but it's not too bad. I've not had any blemishes at all since I've used it, even though my skin has been oilier, and even though I often have a bump here and there no matter how old I get or how dry my skin is. My skin is look really good since I started using this. It doesn't hurt, but it can shock a bit if you use it on too high. It's simple to operate though if you turn it down before you touch it to your skin. I like that they include a one that is really perfectly made to do your neck with. There's even a one that shaped like a comb if you want to use it in your hair. Operation is a bit old-fashioned with a manual dial but I like that because it's easy to control the power.

I was really excited about this product. Unfortunately I can’t use it the wands don’t fit in the handle part. If you apply even a little pressure on it the wand pops out.

The European device that I brought with me to the US was not working well due to the differences in voltage. So I was so excited when I saw this product listed!It works just as I remember it - the same noise, the same pinching feeling, and the same effect. To use it properly, get it close to your skin but don't actually touch it! It will "zap" and pinch. Adjust the setting so that you can feel it but can tolerate it (while "the more = the better", don't turn it into torture!). My skin reacts wonderfully to this stimulation, and always clears up and looks much more relaxed the next day.The device is easy to use, hold, and adjust. I absolutely recommend this product!
