Replaced old woofers. These woofers are great replacements for 2- way or 3- way speakers. My amp is 85 watts X2, peaks at 220 watts. These woofers handle 290 watts. Full rich clean bass. AWESOME SPEAKERS , HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ! Updated June 2023 Speakers are incredible, great sound no matter what music I'm playing. Several months of blasting music and these speakers are just as good as day one.

Sound great, but one was bent in warehouse/shipping. Goldwood replaced it no questions asked immediately as I notified them at no cost. Outstanding customer service!

Amazing quality for the price. The lows are impeccable and sing baritone cleanly with my 1977 Kenwood 113 reciever. A match made in heaven.

These have exceeded my expectations. The more I play them, the better they sound. While they run through the break in period, the lows just keep improving. I would purchase these again in a heartbeat to build a custom set of speakers.

I could have bought some cheaper 12 in drivers, with [only] 25 or 30 oz magnets but decided these were better value.Unlike the other reviewer, for me the holes lined up (frame/ edge of cone); I could fit them.With 8 screws you can achieve a tight bond to the (diy) speaker box. Added some isolation tape at back.Now, do they go 18 Hz, no.Are they the best finished in the world? No (I had to glue a dust-cap in a tiny section).Yet, they measure correctly & within 0.1 Ohm of each other, the rubber surround is of decent quality. They sound good, have a very respectable SNR and the fact that maybe I cannot run 400watts through them is of no concern to me - I use small Class A amplifiers in the main.Overall, I'm quite happy with this purchase!

Exceeded my expectation. Well made with real thick rubber contour instead of foam. Should last much longer than what I had in my Audio Sphere speakers.

Teses woofer sound really good in the box I build for them, good response.
