Digital Freezer/Fridge Thermometer with Magnet and Stander Digital Refrigerator Thermometer with LED Alarm Indicator Max/Min Memory Freezer Thermometer

Easiest way to prove you have the coldest beer, ice tea or milk in town. We've had this in our refrigerator for about a month it's worked perfectly from day one we used the sensor for the freezer with the body of the thermometer on the outside using the magnets on the back of the body to keep it on the door but for the fridge we set the thermometer inside. Two more great features are the two alarms you can set to go off if the temps get to warm or to cold and you can set it to read a outside temp so by putting the probe outside a window or door you can watch the temps outdoors these two features make this a very useful tool for camping or other activities where power may not be available of you just need a dependable battery powered thermometer, . We are getting our house ready to sell and the kitchen appliances go with it so we wanted to make sure the fridge was working like it should so we could add it to the list of plusses for a buyer once the house sells this is going to go into our 5th wheel fridge so we can make sure it works properly whether running on electricity or propane which we will use when driving. Knowing the exact temp of your fridge or freezer is something most people think about but if you have a fridge that's not running right or your power goes out you need to know if the foods in danger of spooling and there's only one way you can know for sure and that's having a thermometer inside that's accurate and trustworthy. The thermometer and the probe and cable are very good quality materials and the design makes this a breeze to use it tough but doesn't look bad or ugly when on the outside of your fridge or freezer.

Works fine, but the temp is off 10 degrees from my existing in-fridge analog thermometer...hard to say which one is wrong at this point. Unit seems more designed for window sill use for indoor and outdoor temps, but adapts okay for fridge/freezer use...just put the unit in the fridge and the probe in the freezer. Then, OUT is the freezer temp and IN is the fridge temp. The Alarm settings MUST be changed from default though as it will alarm in the low 30s on OUT, so of course the freezer is going to be below that. Looks nice, good value, and I like the magnets on the back to hold it in place (if on metal).

Thermometer works well. I needed a unit with alarm to let us know when our freezer temp goes out of range and this thermometer does the job. Instructions are rather minimal so setting the max and min temperatures for the alarm are a bit challenging. I did contact the seller with a question and received a fast response.

Main problem is the HEALCO unit is not accurate- it reads about 5-6 degrees higher than my other thermometers (two wireless and an IR gun, not shown.) For this reason alone it is going back.Another note is that it is a pain to set the alarm mode. It requires you to use a tiny button on the back side and programs like an old digital alarm clock. For example, if you are at 75 and want to set for 70, there is no down function. You have to go up to the max temp of 158, then start at -58 and run all the way back up to 70. If you accidentally overshoot? Well you get to go around the horn again.

It works perfectly! I had purchased too much meat from an online distributor and had to buy a separate freezer. It didn't have a temperature indicator, so I purchased this device. It works great and even has a temperature alarm! Awesome!

Easy to deal with (if i can do it you can!). Using for fridge and freezer and the readings are easier by far than old internal thermometers. Just stick thermometer on outside wall of appliance, put lead wire into freezer, and it gives reading. Be sure it is set on "out".

The directions that came with this are horrible. I received an email from the vendor with updated instructions. The instructions were written by someone that English is not their primary language. I am a retired electronic engineer and I could not figure out how to set the alarm to warn me if my freezer is not working and getting too warm. It works fine if all you need to do is read the outdoor (freezer temp) temp or indoor temp. I would not recommend this product if you intend to use it to warm you of a low of high temperature alarm. For now I will use it to read the temp of my freezer when I am in the basement where the freezer is located. Update: Received email from vendor with additional instructions and was able to program it for low & high temp for my freezer. Instructions are still not that clear but now it works.

Works, has alarm and it goes off when it's supposed to. A little difficult to figure out how to program it, and the programming isn't very flexible (only certain min and max temperatures selectable. A sensor cord with an elliptical shape, to allow the refrigerator door to make a better seal, would be a big improvement.
