Muffles' Measurement Models is a set of two fourth grade measurement units in the Contexts for Learning Mathematics series. The units are designed to promote mathematical inquiry exploring the comparing, decomposition, scaling, and conversion of measurements. Part One provides students an opportunity to develop U.S. Customary units, and Part Two provides contexts for students to deepen their understanding of place value and the metric system.
