Hudson Baby Unisex Baby Muslin Tranquility Quilt Blanket, Foxes, One Size

We have an Aden and Anais dream blanket from 2014. My oldest loves it. It got softer with each wash and has held up beautifully. So when I had another babe in September of 2018, I again purchased an Aden and Anais (the expensive one not Aden by Aden +Anais). I don't know what happened but the quality went WAY down. The blanket pilled after 2 washes. It is not silky soft like the first. So I set out to find a better blanket.I picked the Hudson Baby tranquility blanket in pink rain clouds. I liked the color and pattern choices better than A+A. This blanket is 46x46 which is just slightly smaller than A+A's which is 47x47. But it's not noticeable. This husdon blanket is silky soft and has not pilled yet. It is a little lighter in weight than the A+A. So if you are needing this for a sort of weighted blanket feel this doesn't feel as heavy as the A+A.Over all I like this blanket better than the A+A. I will update if the blanket pills or falls apart.Update March 2021: I can't believe how well this blanket has held up after two years of regular use and washings!! It's still very soft and absolutely no pilling! I haven't noticed any color fading.

Having a muslin baby quilt has been one of our major baby gear things we love and use a ton. We use it enough It tends to be our go to gift and if you're matching a theme, I'd say go with a good design, you'll look at this every day and it'll be in a ton of photos so get a cute one. But quality wise, here's my take on the three we have:Price: This one- often goes on sale for ~ ($13) , A Little Unicorn blanket ($50) and a Cloud Island one ($25).LU hands down, great quality, and a variety of super cute designs- 5 or6layers strong muslin. My 5 yr old still uses his.This one- limited designs (i have the fox) but the QUALITY is so far super close to the LU one. 5 layers I think. It's just as thick... maybe a bit fluffier.Cloud Island- thinner (less layers- 4) but well made, they also have only a handful of designs but they tend to be very pretty like LU.All in all, it's hard to pass up one of these when they're on sale.

I love thins blanket. It matches my sons bedroom decor perfectly. It is soft and warm without being heavy. It’s a good blanket for spring/summer. It’s also larger than I thought it would be so I can see him using it during his toddler years too.

Nice quality made. And good for a gift

We have tons of HB swaddles and blankets and my son LOVES them, more like obsesses over them (he's almost 2). I was thrilled to find this blanket because he has the matching swaddle and it's his favorite but I was extremely disappointed in this quilt. Not only is it not soft at all, after the first wash it smells horrible. It smells like onions or peppers or something. I washed it again by itself because it made the whole load stink and it got worse. In fact the first night in my son's room it set off the alarm on his camera monitor saying the air quality in his room was bad because of high VOC's. We took the blanket out of the room and within an hour the monitor read perfect air quality. Not sure what the issue is with the stench, but am sending it back.

This is a great quality blanket. It’s so soft and plush, and very breathable.

This blanket is beautiful! My baby uses his muslin blankets as his “blankie”. He likes to lay his head on them and he runs his hands over the blankets. When this one arrived he immediately grabbed it and laid his head down on it. It’s much bigger than I expected, and it’s great for him to have in his crib.It’s well made, and I can see him loving it for years to come. The only problem I had was when the blanket arrived it had a strong industrial type smell. But after I washed it once the smell was completely gone. Update- I’ve now bought this blanket twice so he can have one While the other is being washed! These get softer with every wash. I bought this blanket the first time when he was around 9 months and he immediately loved it. Now at 16 months he won’t go anywhere without “blankie”. Very durable even after many many times washed and dried.Another update- my lil man is now 2 years old and this is still his “blankie”- I had bought a second blanket for his other house so we could both have one for him. I can’t believe his blankie is still thriving after all it’s been through and many washes! This blanket has really gone the mile! I’m about to purchase a 3rd one, but only because I need a spare for those times his lovey is in the wash, and he just can’t go without it! Recommend this blanket if you need one for the long run!
