We have an old 3M mini projector that we've used forever and thought this would be a good upgrade (new technology, it's bigger, etc).The long and the short of it is that we're disappointed in this projector.The positives are that it's a nice design and has a speaker that's a lot better than speakers that come with projectors.However, we were expecting it to be brighter than the old projector (the specs say that it should be), but it's not.The other big problem is the keystoning.This projector has a manual lever for keystone adjustment. This helps square/tilt the image say if you're projector is low to the ground compared to your screen.We've seen this with really cheap projectors that if you try to use the keystone feature, the image goes way out of focus at the top/bottom. Are we adjusting it wrong? Don't think so. The keystoning just doesn't work very well.We've adjusted the keystoning on projectors with digital keystone and manual. Digital is usually a lot better. The manual keystone on this project just isn't very good with the image getting blurred at the top or bottom (depending on the way it needs to be keyed.You can reduce the picture size in the menu options, so you'd think they could have added digital keystoning, but unfortunately, they didn't, and the manual just isn't that great.The manual focus wheel is big, but not the easiest to turn.We had high hopes for the projector especially since the case looked great. But unfortunately, I'd rate this as just okay.It could be good for indoor projection, but with our tests with outdoor projection on a large screen, it just didn't hold up to our older projector unfortunately.

Used 4-6hrs daily, for entertainment room. You’ll get 2-3 months out of it. Caught it at 55$…..X4 is Cheaper than 4-6 months I’d get out of the much more expensive projectors…..

I would like to sate there are a lot of projectors out there form off brands that deliver top notch viewing but I unfortunately can't. I have tried many different brands with varying success rates with the end result always being not fully satisfied. This was the case until now.With this super neat projector from a favorite name brand of mine- Magnavox, I have found the perfect unit that bypasses any other one I have owned or operated.I was a bit skeptical initially about this machine due to the price being under 200.00. Working in hotels most of my life I have always had a projector nearby and in a secure location because they are so expensive. The normal price range of a decent projector used to be around seven hundred.I will admit the projector technology has advanced in recent years to include budget variations. While this projector being reviewed from Magnavox is a price friendly option it does not feel like a budget unit like the other ones I own. I am super impressed with the design and the hard case that is also a speaker system. I love any feature that mixes retro nostalgic elements with modern ideas. The hard case doubles the size of the projector which reminds me of the large ones used when I was in grade school. This hard case thing was a total surprise in that I did not even realize it was included when ordering. The hard case can be used as a protective shell while operating the thing or it can be used as a storage case. There is nice ventilation all around the side of the thing so you can feel comfortable there is enough room for the heat to be released. There is a nice rubber lens cover which is nice because dust collects easily on projector lenses and I have often though about purchasing one for my other projector machines. The remote is set up to be user friendly and in turn easy to operate. You can operate the unit from the machine itself with a good deal of buttons on the top of the thing. I like how there is a stylish fabric material that covers a good deal of the top of the machine. This grey fabric matches well with the area I have it positioned in. This can receive most modern connection with a c port cable included. There was no HDMI cable included though a 3.5 to 3.5 was. I like how there are two HDMI ports as well as a usb port.The picture quality is awesome with many adjustment option within the computer of the projector. You can change the screen aspect ratio. There are multiple focus dials on the unit itself which I like.In conclusion I am very satisfied with this projector and recommedn this. I am giving this a five star review because this is the best machine for this price I have been exposed to so far and I am a big movie fan who is constantly running a projector.

Image quality and color is like watching a VHS tape on a tube tv 30 years ago. Larger size image equals worse quality.It works, but for the same price a no-name 720-1080P projector has a much better image.Could be good for Powerpoint presentations on a small screen, but that's it.Buy a Yaber!!!

I was excited to get this once I ordered it. Luckily it arrived quickly and well packaged, so not damaged at all. I remember reading that it was Bluetooth compatible so when it arrived I thought I could watch something on it after connecting it to my tv, phone, or tablet via Bluetooth to stream from. I was wrong, the Bluetooth compatible aspect was referring to speakers only. I can't say that this isn't a great product, but just that I am a bit disappointed that it won't be as easy to use as I thought it would be when I ordered it. We have pulled out the hdmi wires and a laptop and will cross our fingers now!
