I'm too curious. I knew these probably weren't good, but I bought two, from different "authors." The information is not useless, but it's not great. So, I'm out some money, but hopefully I can help save you some. And I'm so glad I spent much more money on the Live.Life.Simple first Freeze Drying Cookbook. So much more useful!

I wanted to buy this book because I think that preparing food for future use in the event of a disaster, natural or man-made, is a smart thing to do. Reading it, I found that it is also easy, there are sections on dehydration and freeze-drying which are great alternatives for food preservation. There is also an overview of tools and techniques for each of the two preservation methods along with lots of recipes to have great stocks, some foods I can even keep for up to 25 years!

this ebook is one of the most current texts that can be found, today where the costs of food are very high who knows how many times it occurred to us if we had stocked up before .... when the prices were lower !!!the author explains in a simple way how and what to keep to be ready for any eventuality ...useful

Should have read reviews before I purchased. Basic freeze drying info with recipes I already know how to cook.
