Fit as it should and works
Fit perfectly. I've had this battery for about a year. It's still working great. It's charge lasts a couple hours under constant use. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Original fit & better service than factory battery.
My HP battery died, what I thought prematurely. I found this battery on Amazon & thought "well, it's worth a shot for $25". Lol & behold, this replacement is the battery that SHOULD have come in my laptop. It fit perfect with no modifications.It charged fully. It took a couple of discharge/recharge cycles to reset the "low battery" message & reach full capacity. Fully charged, it lasts longer than the original.

Good replacement for factory battery
Once i got the case split open it was easy to install this battery. Splitting the case was a struggle, and there were no instructions included with the battery, which is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5.You will need several small screwdrivers to split the case. The top and bottom clips were the hardest to pop open. Just be careful, as it does take quite a bit of force to pop the clips.

DOES NOT WORK WITH HP PAVILION LAPTOPS!
This should NOT be marketed as a replacement for an HP Pavilion Laptop battery! Yes, it 'fits' - you'll install your battery but it won't charge. I ended up taking my laptop in to a tech support shop after going through three different batteries here on Amazon and they said that HP laptops WILL NOT WORK with anything other than HP-branded replacement batteries. And now, I'm having trouble getting Amazon to process my return and refund. Don't buy this battery - it's not worth the hassle!
