Tempted: A Cowboy Shifter Romance (Two Marks, Book 2)

Interesting concept with strong women involved. Good story very enjoyable. Makes the west come alive with great narrative and description.

OMG! Caitlyn is one lucky lady. She has two hunky guys after her. Landry and Wade are shifters who share and they just found their perfect mate. Caitlyn is a scientist studying wolves which they just so happen to be. Though there are LOTS of sexy times in this story there is also a sinister mystery that could seriously affect the Pac. Tempted is the second installment in the Two Mark paranormal romantic suspense series jointly penned by Renee Rose and Vanessa Vale. Once again, these ladies introduce readers to fascinating lead characters—Dr. Caitlyn Shriver, Wade and Landry West. Caitlyn is a wolf biologist involved in ongoing research on the wolves in the area. This brings her to the West family and the Two Mark Wolf pack, especially Wade and Landry. It soon becomes evident that Caitlyn is their soulmate. But her occupation is at odds with the wolf pack and in danger when she realizes her boss, Dr. Andrews, in using her data in collusion with ranchers to exterminate wolves.Once again, Ms. Rose and Ms. Vale penned a captivating paranormal menage romantic suspense. I enjoy their writing style. Their skill in crafting outstanding dialog is remarkable. I enjoyed their use of multi-person POV and descriptive language to provide an understanding of Caitlyn, Wade, and Landry’s backstories. I liked the way they used the theme of corruption and greed to drive their antagonists, an unlikely pair of a college professor and a rancher. This was a nice touch.

This was a nice little read. The pace was fast and smooth. The story plot line was good. The characters are believable. All in all a good read.

The way the male wolf shifters pair to find a mate is unique and it appears the fated mate attraction affects humans too. Caitlin’s love of wolves brought her to Wyoming from the east coast but she doesn’t know wolf shifters exist. The story line has lots of angst, smoking sexy times, and a baddie that needs to be brought to justice. Loved this tale.

I just love the shifter stories by Renee Rose and Vanessa Vale!! The Two Marks pack has their work cut out for them in this intriguing story. Caitlyn is a wolf biologist who just want to protect her wolves. That leads her to Wade and Landry, two sexy wolf shifters who are tasked with stopping her. But when they all meet, the Fates speak. So good!!

I hope to see more of Shelby and her scientific abilities in other books in the series. Shelby, Wade, and Laundry are just really great characters. This is a hot hot book with two men and one women. They are all mates for life.The story and conflict are enjoyable and feel like a problem that could really happen if shifters are reallyMy only critism is how fast Shelby jumped into bed with both Wade and Laundry. I can understand how a female shifter would to this but I was surprised that Shelby, being human, did.

Good lord, this book is hot, heavy, and B E Autifuly written!! The characters have great depth and are well developed. The novels can be read as a series or stand alone making them even more fun!!

I've been missing the Rose/Vale alpha cowboy wolf shifters and couldn't wait for this release. As soon as it hit my Kindle I devoured it one evening's reading session. Prior to receiving Tempted I reread Untamed as a reminder of the introduction to the Two Marks pack (yes these shifters mate in pairs!). I thoroughly recommend reading the novella to bridge the crossover from Wolf Ranch to the Two Marks (by way of Shelby who I loved in the Wolf Ranch series).This book is everything you expect from these writers' shifter cowboys times two. It follows the same timeline as Tempted as while Ben and Gibson are off finding their mate they leave the Two Marks pack in the hands of Wade and Landry. Wade only has to get a hint of Caitlyn to know she belongs to him and his scent match Landry. The problem is that Caitlyn is a scientific researcher into wolf behaviours and her research threatens the pack as wolves are being traced and killed. Wade and Landry have to balance the needs of their mate with the safety of the pack.These three are all chemistry and Wade and Landry are domineering and possessive as all good shifter mates should be. This book has an epic mating mark scene. I loved mating scenes with one shifter, but two is something else. Not only is it double the passion but double the threat of moon madness. I loved the ups and downs of this story. It very much follows the meet, threat, mating pattern of Wolf Ranch. But that is exactly what I am here to read and Renee and Vanessa delivered in every which way.

I love this book in the Two Marks series. Lots of twists and turns had me engrossed.Caitlyn is researching wolves for her masters, tracking and analysing pack movements and effect on the ecosystem. She wants to get on Two Marks land but had been told she is not welcome. She's going anyway.Wade is sent to find out what her research is about, to persuade her to change her mind and derail her thesis. However those plans quickly change when Wade realises Caitlyn is his mate. He satisfies her then leaves to tell his scent-match he found her.Landry is shocked to find out there mate is human. The woman who is putting all there lives in jeopardy. How can they say no to her when all they want to do is say Yes. Yes. Yes.What follows is a cat and mouse journey of miss direction, intreaque, pain and lots of pleasure.Great characters with a detailed plot had me engrossed.I loved this book and highly recommend it.

I know Amazon suggests to read the previous series b4 reading these but I didn’t & it hasn’t given anything away that I’m aware of & there’s nothing confusing if u didn’t read the prior series.I loved the teaser book & this one & in fact read the teaser during the day & started this one in the eve & could barely put it down & ended up finishing this book at 7am this morning lol.I love the fact that this one is totally different to Shelby, Ben & Gibs’ story, it’s unique in its own right & I can’t wait til 2 days time to read the nxt one!

The usual excellent story line. Well written and emotionally satisfying. Steamy and satisfying with a happy end.Brilliant author to follow.
