Great Wrangler Hinge Sleeves
Unlike the less expensive ABS, these sleeves are said to be Delrin, which is much better. The pound out tool included is steel, unlike what I've read about the cheaper ones being aluminum. These are also advertised on the packaging as 'limited lifetime warranty.' Now to the installation; what a pain in the @$$! My 2009 Wrangler has never had the doors off, mainly because they never would come off without force, and I was too chicken after a couple of cranks with a floor jack. One of the doors started to become very hard to open. I didn't want anything to break around the hinge, so it was time to replace all the factory sleeves. Getting the doors off with a floor jack, a 4x4 piece of wood, and wiggling back and forth, was not too bad. 2 of the 8 original sleeves pounded out with no problem. 4 others required quite a bit of penetrating oil, time, and fiddling with. On the 2 others, the hinges began to move with the pounding, so I removed them and took them to the vice. With a little creativity to hold them securely, the sleeves popped out with a couple of hard hammer hits. All the hinges NEEDED the tool to get them out. All in all, I don't think there's a better sleeve set on the market. I'm VERY happy with them. The doors come off and on very nicely now, for the first time. I'm using silicone grease on them. I would recommend these sleeves and tool.

Great bushings but the tool is useless
These bushings are great and easy to install once you get the old ones out. That being said, the removal tool for the original bushings was useless. No amount of penetrating oil and hammering was going to get the old ones out. I had to remove the hinges and drill them out, which then required me to re-align the hinges to get the doors to line up properly.

Product works great!!!
I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler 4 door, back doors haven’t been off in over 7 years & started to be difficult to swing open/close. Bought this product all OE were rusted metal inserts. The front came off easily but the back I had to use PB Blaster, 1/2 drill bit, & used flat head screwdriver to get out the old OE corroded inserts out. Once out I used metal file cleaned out hinges, lubed the insets and every one went in as expected no hammering or force entry. Do recommend to use emery cloth on the door hinges to clear rust, lube them and test the new inserts. So far great product!!

Way Better
These are great on the 2015 4-door JK. Way smoother operation. No more running into the edge of the door expecting it to swing out of my way and it going literally nowhere without force. I hammered so hard on the fist one I dinged up paint and cursed myself, so I wound up taking the rest of the door hinges off the body of the car (one door at a time so I didn't mix them up), chucking them in a vise and drilling out the old bushings. If you have vusible rust on the hinges it's a good sign this is necessary. Easier to tell with a white Jeep. It's easy enough to bolt the hinges back in proper alignment by lining up the paint marks left by the bolts. This seems like the hard way but it allowed me to thoroughly clean, grease and reassemble in an orderly fashion so that these hopefully last.

Fit is perfect
The rear door would hardly move on my 2017 wrangler. after spraying hinges a few time with PB Blaster penetrating oil and using a 2x4 on top of door sill and under the door for leverage the door finally popped out off the hinge .The supplied tool for removing the original bushing is heavy duty punch after a few good hits with a #2 pound maul the old bushing drove right out. Take some emery paper clean the pivot pin and a little grease on pin. Take a rat tail file and run it through where the new bushing is going to be inserted.I put a little grease on the new Kentrol liner and the new liner pushed right in. Installed the door works better than when the wrangler was new. Great investment.

A Must, purchase and install before your door get hard to open and close
My daughter's 2010 JK 4 door, the doors were getting tough to open and close, found these.. more expensive than other kits.. but the bushings are made from delron, for better material than the plastic found in other kits. This kits also comes with a removal tool. It's made well, well enough that with a BFH, you can knock your hinges out of alignment before getting the "corroded in bushings" out.So try it.. if not stop before you start to bang your hinges out of alignment.A good shortty 1/2 drill bit is needed, use slow speed and lots of spray lub / wd40, go slow.. you'll easily drill out the corroded in bushing.Clean out the hing well, make sure no burs and no FOD left behind.Use a synthetic grease, very small amount and coat the inside of the hinge, and then press in by hand the new bushing. Coat the inside of the new bushing sparingly.Clean the pins on your doors, chances are that they have corrosion on them.. light metal brush or emery cloth. Again clean well when done, then apply a light / sparingly amount of synthetic grease. If you didnt knock the hinge out of alignment using the tool, doors should slide right on.After helping my daughter with hers, I bought kits for my 4door 2013 and my wifes 2dr 2015.On both, we could knock out most, but there was a couple / few that had to be drilled out.By an extra set, and replace every so often. The original ones didnt wear out, but corroded themselves out of service.I expect even delron to wear and require replacement, not sure how long... but do expect to replace them sooner or later.

Great Product!
These Bushings work awesome! Had to adjust a few hinges after as they were out of adjustment from factory. Having touch up paint on hand makes it easy to paint over the hinge bolts if adjustments are required. I used a bore brush to clean the corrosion from the body hinges the bushings sit in. Coated the new bushings with a light coat of silicon brake lubricant. I Was only able to use the bushing remover on the upper hinges. The lower bushings I had to use a chisel and roll the lip over and then hammer them out the bottom. My lower door bushings were so seized that using the remover tool started to move the hinge. May require running board removal or steps to access the lower hinges better.
