Aphrodite and the Duke: A Novel

I purchased this book to read on vacation while I was in France and it did not disappoint. It's so lovely to see representation. I loved the book so much I book the two other books that follow!

Easy and interesting read. The truths that came out and the events that took place were surprising but I felt it could’ve been more intriguing/more breathtaking.There was a variety of good sex scenes. Her innocence was the best part for me. Like, they got you excited to see what was going to happen. It personally wasn’t good enough to make you wanna pause the book and really imagine it or even get off. I’m not sure if it was the time period of the book or just the authors choosing.

As a Bridgerton fanatic, this book completely engulfed me. I literally could not put it down. Didn’t do anything for a week because I could not put this book down. I have little to words other than wow. Amazing written. Elegant with the perfect amount of spice and flair. So thoughtfully created from beginning to end. Can’t wait to read books 2 and 3 but giving myself a break because I have things to do!!Also…the fact that this is not a NY Times Bestseller is beyond me. Truly beyond sense or reason. JJ McAvoy is a mastermind.

I didn't see the book in the box because it was so small!!! I hate little books like this but at least I have it because I didn't see it until I was throwing the boxes out, so I have my book!!! My review is not about the story bit the receiving of the book

I have purchased this book twice. I bought it as an audio book to listen to while driving just because and became so intrigued I had to buy the physical copy. It’s interesting, passionate and can get really steamy but it stays tasteful. I loved it and can’t wait for more.
