I had one for years (maybe 17) - and it only had one row of "teeth". It worked great until one day it did not. This came with two rows of "teeth" and has been opening all size jars and bottles - even those with smaller caps. I was so glad to find another as age has taken most of my hand strength away. I would highly recommend it for anyone - those with and those without any loss of hand strength as it certainly does a quick job and most likely, like my last one, will last for many years.

The opener was much easier to install than I feared as I wanted to use both tape and screwsfor extra hold. I could only get 2 screws in however, but it seems stable. I am able to open jars and bottles quite easily so far.

Easy to install. Great tool! My husband and I are older. I can open virtually any jar now. My husband has only one useful hand and he struggles with heavy items; but otherwise it’s great for ANY SIZE JAR!

I had a similar item in my last house. Unfortunately, I forgot to take it down when we moved. I quickly went on Amazon & ordered another. Big mistake! Not the same, doesn't work nearly as well.

Will not open thin kids like pickle jars. Great on everything else

Aprete la taparosca de una botella con toda mi fuerza y ni mi mamá ni mi papá podían abrirla. Luego lo intentaron con este invento y con el mínimo esfuerzo se abrió. Funcionó también con el vaso de la licuadora... Pero quedó marcado con los dientes. Cumple muy bien
