OtterBox FRĒ Series Waterproof Case with MagSafe (Designed by LifeProof) for iPhone 14 Pro Max (ONLY) - Black

Fit perfectly and has protected my phone very well. Working in industrial construction is a tough environment and this case is holding up well while protecting my phone.

I’ve always used lifeproof on all my devices, however I feel like the back scratches more then previous models.. I’m not a huge fan of the new charging port system they got going on either, it feels a lot more flimsy and I see wear already. I use MagSafe accessories as well, and the connection is really strong. I give 5 starts cause i still feel as if my phone is still protected, but I wish the case didn’t scratch as easy and the charging port return to how previous models were.

The protection offered by the case is good, I’ve used in quite rainy and muddy conditions. But the quality of the camera cover is dismal, I’ve been using the case for 8 months and the plastic camera cover is so badly scratched that photos are blurry and distorted, this is a huge problem. And since I purchased it here on Amazon, warranty support is pretty much nonexistent. I’ve contacted OtterBox with no response from them.

This is the new version of the OG Lifeproof case and it is just as nice as they used to be! Super durable, feels great in your hand, is a fair price compared to what they used to go for before otter box bought them out, and the buttons/mute dial feel phenomenal, also fits the phone very snug!

Great fit and definitely water proof!! The material is a bit slick, feel like I have dropped my phone more with this case…. But still love it!

I've owned numerous cell phones over the years and as soon as the Otter Box hit the market that's all that I've protected my phones with. That stated, this Otter Box FRE is by far the best engineered and quality one I've ever had. As advised I first tested it for waterproof and it certainly was. It goes together easier and quicker than any other one ever did - even my wife's new Otter Box Commuter ( really) on her new 14 Pro Max.Please bear with me while I explain why I spent (with tax) over $100 on an Otter Box.I called Otter Box customer service and the most knowledgeable and friendly customer service reps took my call. I told her that I did not want a "Screenless" Otter Box and she told me that the one's that that they initially produced with screens were failing on tactical through the protected screen, so they stopped offering them. I told her that I wear my phone on my belt, I'm also not easy on it, and what advise could she offer.She then told me that because of that Otter Box partnered with another company who had it figured out with a phone that needs "tactical touch and swipe" without a "home button".She warned me that it was going to be pricey - but it really was a nice piece of equipment.The sale was made as soon as I completed the call.If Shelby, from Otter Box ever get's to read this, you're a Customer Service Rock Star!One word of advice: The price for this Otterbox FRE keeps changing, so watch the offers.
