This is great open block pulley.easier to get rope in and weights hang up less than other pulleys
Great Open Block Pulley for crabpots under 100lbs. This Pulley Block works really good especially if you have lead weights attached to rope.Opening on block is large enough that lead weights attached to ropes dont get stuck or hung up when going thru pulley and it makes it easy to get rope in pulley.I have 30in round traps with 20lbs of weight added empty pots weigh about 45lbs pulled few pots with 30 dungeness keepers thats about 100lbs pulley block handled weight no problem.

Happy with it overall
Overall I am happy with it. It’s strong and solid.2 wishes...1. Wish the hanging tab on top was connected and didn’t float “loose”. 2. Wish opening was larger so when a 3/8” rope used to pull lobster traps Has a knot or kink It would still go through instead of having to remove.

Very durable but way too small
Too small to haul lobster traps. Way too hard to get ropes in to the block with the high lip. I replaced after first use.

Some of the weld had already rusted in new condition.

i have had he pulley on for a month and it already started to rust even though it is stainless

I ordered a new crab pot pulleyLooks like it should do the job, season starts soon then I will know if I picked correctly.
