Bought this for my teenage son who wants to get big muscles. Installed in his bedroom doorway. Easy to do. Feels good and secure. He's happy doing pull ups and getting hench.

I was surprised at how sturdy even when quite extended this bar is, and pleased that it comes with cups to prevent slipping for those with less than ideal places to brace the ends. I added a bit more foam when back stretching over the bar, but that isnt needed for pull ups.Only sad that it's been out of stock since I got it, or i'd have bought another.

It's decent for the price and serves it purpose. I stuck it inbetween my doorway and it holds my weight of approx. 75Kg without issue. I was a little apprehensive at first but have not had it slip on me whilst using it.The negatives are that when doing pull ups, if your hand twists the bar, it can slowly make it looser. Also if putting it in between a door, the rubber will leave dark marks where it is attached and if you twist too much to apply more tension so it holds better, it may slightly push your frame away from the door.Overall decent product for the money and does the job intended

The screw supplied is not suitable for the purpose and things are falling in to pieces as I only use to hold my 5 years old son hammock. Hopefully it will last longer than expected

Bought it with some apprehension about the quality of a product priced so low! Need not have worried at all!Bought this as the earlier product we bought was one that went over the door frame and the actual grip hung down - this seemed to be damaging the door frame at the top and hence wanted something that would not exert downward force on the thin frame.This one fixes very securely to the sides of the door frame with only a few twists of the telescopic handle and we have not even had to use the screws provided. It easily takes my husband's weight (~83kgs), the only slight problem is that it leaves scuff marks on a light coloured frame. A few flecks of paint may come off but this is easily remedied. If the user is really tall with long arms, they may want something that allows a wider hand grip, but it will serve the purpose of the vast majority of medium sized people.

Looks great but didn’t serve any purpose for me other than being a play thing for my toddler.
