Heated Pet Bowl, Outdoor Pet Thermal Water Bowl, Dog Cat Heated Water Bowl with 69 Inch Chew Resistant Cord and Waterproof ON/Off Switch (Gray)

I have been SO impressed with this heated bowl since I bought it in October 2021. I have it outside to provide water to the wildlife through the very cold Maine winter. We have had below 20 degrees and it kept warm, only a ice crystals formed around the rim where the water did not reach - it kept the water a nice warm temperature. I do change the water every few days, but other than lifting it up and tipping it upside down to empty it has been on and surrounded by straw since October.Today when I went to check it had water and if it needed cleaning there was no water in - very strange, so I filled it up and immediately noticed a crack in the bottom and consequently water leaking out. No idea what has caused this as it has been on and working all the time and not been moved.If this had not happened, it would have been given 5 stars on all for me - but only 4 months in and the bottom cracking is not good. Disappointing for sure!

I bought this heated bowl to put out back for wildlife during the cold winters. Our temperatures have gone down to -14, and this bowl keeps the water liquid! When it’s that cold, a delicate layer of ice crystals form on the rim, but if I get a droplet on it when topping off the water, it melts away. Really amazing.The bowl is very sturdy, a little heavy so it doesn’t get knocked around, and the cord is secure inside the metal casing. Just be sure, with any heated bowl, to be sure you check the water level regularly, because it tends to evaporate more quickly.Great product!!!

Update 1/12/21:Still a great heated bowl. As a testament to its durability the bowl was completely buried in snow after a storm a few weeks ago. I was shocked to find it still working with heated water underneath all the snow :-) Not just unfrozen, heated! Love this durable, waterproof bowl!__________This is an excellent water bowl for use outside in cold weather to ensure squirrels, rabbits and birds, etc. have fresh water during the winter. I've only seen the squirrels use it thus far but they're consistent and using it daily.I'm thrilled it really does keep the water warm, not just at room or a cool temperature, but actually warm versus the K&H's "heated" water bowl which doesn't warm the water at all. I bought that one two years ago? for use inside a garage kept open for the feral cats. The water was always ice cold, I hated that. Although it never froze even in below zero weather, the fact the water was never warm really bothered me. I wish I'd bought this one years ago.I bought this bowl and PETLESO's heated water bowl, too. That bowl does keep the water warm which I'm very happy with, but I think this bowl keeps the water a bit warmer. These two bowls look almost identical except this bowl's cord's diameter is larger by a couple of centimeters. I'm really glad we bought it.

We run a Raptor Rehab and Educational center. I bought several of these to put in their outdoor pens. I have been using them for a couple of cold winter months and they are holding up. The water will evaporate from them so you have to top them off at least every other day. I had to tape down the ON switch on a couple of them because the bird would perch on the edge and shut it off. A piece of good Duct tape took care of that.

I like that this can be turned off and on with the flip of a switch.I have a feral cat that lives on my front porch in a heated house and because we live in Pennsylvania her water would freeze so it was time to invest in a bowl that her water would not freeze in. ( we have tried to bring her in the house and she hates it even though she will snuggle up to my husband I still believe she remembers me catching her and she didn’t like it)The cord is nice and long enough that I could move it very easily to clean to move around on my porch if I need to I like the base it’s very sturdy.I wish it came in a gray color to match outside my only choices were pink or blue I would’ve liked a neutral color that’s the only thing that I could say about it and that’s not even bad. Very satisfied and yes I would buy it again as a gift or if I needed a second one.

It doesn't last long but at least it works. These things will only hold up one season. But they definitely heat the water to a nice slightly warm temperature. My ferals love it. Ive been buying these for 4 years. I tried a new brand this year, it was a blue bowl from a popular brand and it was useless. It would warm the water while in the house, but put it outside and forget it. Just not strong enough. So back to this brand. Too bad it only lasts about 6 months.

I purchased two of these heated water bowls one for my indoor cats and one for my feral cats during the winter of 2018-2019. They worked great and kept the water warm enough when they were full or half full. Sometimes when I was not around to keep the bowls full, as the water got lower, the temperature of the water increased to be very warm and the cats would not drink from them, but would use the other bowls I leave out with cold water.During the summer I picked them up and stored them for winter time. This winter of 2019, one of the bowls would not heat up. So I had to warm up the water for my indoor cats. I sent an email with a question about the warranty to the vendor and they sent me a new bowl. Great service and the cats are happy that they don't have to wait for me to warm up their water or drink cold water.Except for the issue of keeping sufficient water in the bowls, these bowls work out great for me and my cats. I do not have to spend time warming water on cold days and it is easier to refill as needed.
