Un-usable towards the end of the roll because its wrapped on a tiny diameter cardboard roll.
FOR THE SELLER/MANUFACTURER: If you read this please consider shipping this on a larger diameter cardboard tube so that the actual product can be usable till the end of the roll. The film is great and I give it a good 4.5 stars, but the way it's rolled up so tight renders it nearly useless once you reach the last 5 feet or so of the roll and that's where the problem is. Since It's rolled so tightly on a tiny diameter cardboard tube, it's very challenging to work with at the end of the roll due to the curling. This material is much thicker than regular window tint so it's important that it is NOT tight-rolled. On regular window tint, this isn't such a big issue, but this stuff is thick and stiff so it matters.(Note: I was installing this on a rather hot day at 95F or 35C so it should have been more flexible even after laying it flat on a table outside in the sun, yet it was still very curly and refused to lay flat.)The film itself is quite good. I have no complaints there as what I was able to use performed as advertised and even exceeded my expectations on the heat reduction in my 5th wheel camper. For example, we had a few days of 95F with a heat index of 103 yet my camper stayed at a cool 74F all day in direct sun and no shade. This was unheard of before installing this stuff. Before installing this on all windows, my camper would barely maintain a 10-degree temperature differential and temps would climb to the upper 80s or low 90s on a day like this in full sun. So yes, it works very well and I'm very pleased with the actual product once it's installed. However, it's packaged and rolled tight on a tiny cardboard tube a little larger than the diameter of a quarter. This means that by the time you reach the end of the roll, it curls up so badly that working with it is a nightmare. This material is quite thick and stiff in comparison to any other window tint that I've ever installed. It measures 0.2mm thick with the protective backing which is equal to two sheets of paper. When I first started installing it I was happy at how easy it was to install and with the results. However, by the time I was reaching the end of the roll, I was cursing the person who signed off on the decision to tight roll this and ship it on a small-diameter cardboard roll. It was curling up so badly towards the end of the roll that it was very challenging to work with. I don't consider myself to be an expert installer by any means, but I've installed my share of tint and this stuff had me cussing at the end of the roll.A word of advice is to make sure you measure and cut your pieces square with precision and don't leave too much extra as trimming this stuff is not like regular tint. It is more difficult to cut as compared to regular window tint. Curved edges can be a challenge to trim and make pretty, but square windows aren't much of an issue as long as you use a straight edge while trimming. If you have silicone-sealed windows, don't try to go all of the way to the edges as it will just want to peel up. Leave a small gap of 1/16" to 1/8" to the very edge and it should work fine.Again, this stuff works great for heat reduction and privacy during daylight hours but it can be tricky to install depending on your application.

Definitely takes 2 people for a glass door
At first thought this was going to be an epic failure & waste of almost $30 bucks BUT ya gotta have patience. My hubby held the top part while i unrolled the bottom and sliced off the excess w/ a box cutter. Then we followed the instructions which were very clear and easy to understand. The tough part was getting the bubbles out. We had to peel up some of the film and then re-spray and re-squeegee it down. Took us a good, 25 to 30 minutes but it ended up turning out really well. The size I ordered for our glass door was about 1.5 inches shorter on the sides, but I was fine with that bc I did not want to have to cut off excess on the sides, that would be too much work. You can see in my pic there is about a 1 inch gap on one side and a smaller gap on the other side, which does not bother me. The main reason for this is to block some of the strong sun that we get during the day which causes it to get very warm upstairs in our split-level home.

Exactly what I wanted
I was looking for heat blocking privacy film that would still allow us to see out. We needed heat blocking for our hallway window that gets a lot of sun and therefore makes our hallway 85 degrees when the rest of our house is a cool 70. We have noticed a significant difference after installing this film.It was easier than I thought to install and didn't crease at all. It removes and resticks very easily so don't worry about putting it on perfectly at first. This would be very renter friendly as it doesn't leave residue. Will definitely be buying more for our other windows.TIP - it's better to have a little you have to cut off the ends than to be too short. Cut a tad bigger than you measured and use the knife to cut it in after placing it.

BUDGET FRIENDLY WAY TO REDUCE TEMP IN HOME
I was weary at first to try and install home window tinting but I am happy to report that its very acheivable for any home owner looking to reduce their cooling costs and gain some privacy from prying neighbors. I absolutely love how easily the tinting adhered to the windows with only a mixture of water and soap. The only thing I'd suggest to anyone trying this product is ordering some window tint tools to help with the application. Also make sure and measure the windows out and give yourself a little extra so you can make adjustments. I learned the hard way which is why I ordered a large amount, that instead of measuring the tint to the exact dimensions of the window it is better to give yourself an extra inch or so and trim after application. I plan on doing every window in the house!

Black yes silver no
I’m reviewing this after a year of use. I bought this in the black color august 2022 and absolutely loved it. Blocked enough sunlight to feel a temperature difference and can confirm through much testing that you can’t see through it. It does darken and slightly blur the view but to the same extent as it tinted car windows. This stuff is sturdy too. I have a dog that jumps and claws at the window and not a single tear in a year of abuse. HOWEVER! when I reordered this for my other windows, because I loved it so much, I changed color from black to silver to let just a little more light in. The silver is completely see through! I needed this more for privacy then sunlight protection so I’m very disappointed. I don’t know if they changed the way they make this between august 2022 and July 2023 or the color really makes the difference but just beware if you’re looking for privacy vs sun protection. The inside picture with the tree is the silver color as is the outside picture where you can see the tv clearly through the window. The inside picture with the red truck and the other outside window( You can’t see it but all the lights are on and someone is standing in the window) are the black color. In all pictures the top window is plain glass and the bottom panel has the film so you can see the difference. Hope this helps.
