Fast delivery and excellent product quality and value for money, I was surprised at overall quality and finish of this loupe, it feels good in the hand to use, is in my opinion just the right size. Clarity of image is superb and the supplied PU leather pouch is a useful and nice touch, my only criticism if you could call it that is of the focusing. When placed on a flat surface reading small print for example, I found that although it was sharp, by raising it up a fraction it became even sharper. Which is great, but I had to hold it up slightly, at first I couldn’t see how to focus it as the eyepiece was firmly screwed down. However, by turning anti clockwise a turn or two it came into sharp focus. Which again is great, so what am I criticising? Well once you loosen the eyepiece it is loose on the threads and can wobble slightly, undoing all the way removes it completely. I would like to have seen an eyepiece that can be left firmly attached with a separate smooth but firm focus wheel or knob underneath the attached eyepiece. Maybe I’m being a little picky considering the price and quality, but I think that would have made this loupe just perfect! Highly recommended!

This is a good value loupe with really effective LED illumination and the lens gives a clear image. Objects do need to be held close to the loupe to achieve focus - this is easiest with small jewellery items. I found that for examining a watch dial I needed to remove the actual loupe from its LED housing so I could focus on details behind the watch crystal, but overall it works very well.

This is a neat little loupe. It comes in a nice case, and the light is plenty bright enough from the provided batteries which come already fitted. Like many magnifiers, the claim of 20x magnification seems a bit optimistic, but you be the judge from the two uncropped pictures of an English penny I took with, and without the magnifier.You need to get down very close to the magnifier to be able to see what you're magnifying, and so if you're short-sighted or naturally able to focus very close, this is great. Long-sighted people are going to struggle, so your reading specs will definitely be needed.I bought this to remove the tip of a thorn which had broken off when I removed one which had stabbed me following me carelessly handling Pyracantha when pruning. I thought I'd got it all out, but continuing pain a day or so later meant I hadn't, though I couldn't see anything in my hand.However this illuminated loupe did the trick, though I wasn't able to work on my hand while using the magnifier as it needs to be right next to the subject. So it was look, dig, look, dig and eventually, I managed to get it out, as much through luck as judgement, to be honest.So while it got the job done, it wasn't as much help as I'd expected, and I later bought a head-mounted magnifier, which I find more useful.There are a lot of these about on Amazon, some cheaper than others. This is more expensive than some apparently identical others, so shop around on Amazon for the best deal for you. I don't think this one is worth £15.99, hence the 3* rating, but it does have Prime delivery, which is what prompted my purchase.

I read some negative reviews regarding this loupe and was a little concern but purchased it anyway. It arrived on time, well wrapped and, having opened the box I used it immediately - and WOW! This is really great value for money and the LED light is exceptionally good. This is my first loupe (for watch repairs) and it is great value for money. Thank you.

Well you send me a product with 3 old batteries, which were already oxidised. Therefore I could not check if the lights work or not. Then I bought batteries for this and first time after putting the bateries the lights were excellent. But now the leds either flicker or they just do not work at all. The electrical contact is just unstable. I wonder whether it has anything to do with previous oxidised batteries. To summarise a good loupe without a working light.

20x may be a little strong for everyday use and a 10x may be more suitable if they make one. Very clear with a gooddiameter lenses and the light enhances all the details. Triplet lenses for this price is very good value.Small case is more of a pvc style, not leather. Remember its the lenses that you are buying and it is A1.

Bought a 10X mag. also but this 20X is smaller and clearer. Prefer it to the 10. Perfect for diamonds/gemstones but difficult to read hallmarks on the inside of rings. Overall it's a good loupe and worth the money.

Het is een ontzettend fijne loep, hij doet het geweldig. Maar helaas wat de sluiting van het hoesje stuk bij aflevering, Ik heb om een nieuw hoesje gevraagd, bij bol.com maar dat was helaas niet mogelijk. Ik kon het uiteraard wel retourneren maar ik had het nodig dus heb ik het geaccepteerd.Jammer!

absolut in ordnung.Klar, die linse verzerrt ausserhalb ihres zentrums und je weiter man sich davon entfernt umso mehr. *Echte* schärfe gibt es also nur in der direkten bildmitte. Aber das ist eigentlich "normal" und von daher kein punkteabzug. Wer sich wundert wieso manche bauähnliche lupen das 5-fache kosten ... hier habt ihr die antwort darauf.Das eingebaute LED-Licht ist von der helligkeit her sehr gut, hat aber leider eine blaue farbe anstatt rein weiss zu sein. Das gibt auf jeden fall einen punkt abzug da dies die natürlichen farben der zu betrachtenden gegenstände verfälscht. Dies ist auch der einzige kritikpunkt den ich an dieser lupe finden kann.Die verarbeitung ist durchaus wertig, alu, glas und hochwertiger kunststoff. Ich denke die lupe wird lange halten.In der artikelbeschreibung ist etwas von einem verstellbaren zoom zu lesen. Das ist absoluter Quatsch, hier kann man weder zoomen, noch die schärfe verstellen!Was aber kann ist die lupe vom stativ und der lichteinheit abzuschrauben. Dann hat man erstens ein besseres schärfefeld und zweitens kann man dann auch dinge betrachten die man *mit* stativ einfach nicht scharf bekommen kann da die abstände zum objekt einfach nicht stimmen.Allerdings ist die lupe dann nicht mehr geschützt und man muss vorsichtig sein um sie nicht zu verkratzen.Das mitgelieferte schutztäschen ist marke billigst lederimmitat. Aber sie erfüllt ihren zweck und man die lupe somit bedenkenlos in den rucksack schmeissen.Fazit: für dieses geld in jedem fall eine empfehlung! Im grunde gibt es hier absolut nichts zu meckern. Schon gar nicht zu diesem preis.Ich bin froh genau diese lupe gekauft zu haben und sollte sie verloren gehen würde ich sie vermutlich direkt wieder nachbestellen! Ich verwende sie beinahe täglich für alles mögliche, aber angeschafft habe ich sie um gesteinsproben auf ihren goldgehalt hin zu untersuchen bzw. für meine münzsammlung. Und diese beiden kernaufgaben löst sie mit bravour!
