Has several different heat settings (up to 10) and heats up extremely quickly. The hottest setting is quite hot, so you might want to try the different settings to find the one suitable for your hair type. I find that the hotter settings give a more defined curl / wave and it lasts longer too.The barrel is ceramic, which is supposed to be kinder to the hair. I find that when using hairspray, it doesn't leave a sticky residue after time as much as the old metal types used to.I haven't actually used the brush attachment, but it looks like it works just like a hot brush.The cable is nice and long, so doesn't limit you to sitting right next to a plug socket when using them and they are fairly easy to use, but the hair doesn't always grip that well on finer hair and often slips out when trying to curl it.

I bought these tongs to replace my gas tongs that failed after many years of faiththfull service. These new tongs are extremely good for my short hair, quick to heat, and get the job done well (when you finally have them facing the right way!) They feel extremey sturdy and are really well balanced. They are very good value considering the price. I did not have any problems with the cord twisting, as it pivots to prevent tangling. The cord is of a decent length too. It has an on/off switch with a light indicating when it has reached the correct temperature. It has a detachable brush attachment which clicks into place if you prefer to brush. When the brush attachment is fitted the tongs will only operate in the closed possition as the opening tong section is then fitted under the brush attachment.There is a wheel on the side with a 10 level temperature setting. Delivery was on schedule and in good condition. Would recommend.

My favourite benefit of this product is that it has 10 different heat settings so you can personalise it to how you like it, I like to try out loose and tight curls so rather than worrying about how long to keep my hair on the tong I can just set it to a lower / higher setting.I can honestly say my hair has never held curls as long as it does with this tong. I often get bored with other tongs having to wait for them to heat up, whereas this BaByliss curling iron in particular takes around 45-60 seconds to heat fully and an LED indicator light to show when the appliance is on. It also comes with a neat brush sleeve which you can clip on / off the tong, when I use this brush feature it gives a real Hollywood curl look to my hair, I love it!If you're like me and get ready with a lot of distractions then this is perfect for you; if left on for a long period of time it will turn off to prevent any fire hazards. It also has a metal stand so when you place the tong down, the heated part of the wand is safely levitated off the ground. Another thing I have found with previous wands I have used is that the 'cool' tip is not actually always cool... With this appliance you don't have to worry about burning your fingers.My hair is mid-long length and quite thick so it is hard to find a curling iron which not only curls thick sections of my hair it also holds the curls in my hair for few days. When curling long hair you often get half way up to the root and then run out of room on the wand to curl the top half... I haven't come across this problem as it has always covered all of my hair, on the occasion where I am curling a really long part of hair or extensions for example I have simply wrapped it round again, only going back down the tong. This sounds like it won't work as the heat won't reach the second layer of hair, but it does, all without conflicting heat damage too!I would definitely recommend this tong for people who are looking for quick and easy curls.

I normally use Babyliss gas curling tongs, however, having bought two new ones recently found that, contrary to previos experience with them, they were not very efficient in heating up quickly I called Babyliss with these findings and I was recommended the Pro Curl Tong which has the brush attachment I particularily wanted. However, this attachment is far too large compared to what I have been used to and the small 'clip' which is supposed to hold the brush firmly to the top of the handle is far too flimsy and the curler bit detaches itself frequently when in use. Although my hair is really quite short, I found that it became quite tangled up in the brush and was difficult to detangle. Not the best of designs. I will keep it though as, if the new gas curlers pack up after six months (which my previous two did) I have at least got a back up, albeit an electric one.

These tongs are absolutely brilliant. I have short naturally wavy hair, and these tame it really well, whether after washing or between washes. It creates waves in seconds, so styling takes very little time, and heats up very quickly. It is also very inexpensive - a real bargain at this price. The only thing to beware of is the tongs become very hot, and it's easy to burn the fingers. A heat proof glove would be a good addition? Highly recommended.

Bought these for my wife. She is thrilled with them. Not too heavy, very quick heat up time, good results.

Amazing product, arrived same day and decided to be braver and have a go tonight. Doing hair is not a forte of mine past using straighteners. Therese are brilliant, absolutely love them, easy to use, hold my hair really nicely, get a good curl on it. I have thick hair and it curls really nicely and hasn't dropped .. I think, personally, I'd do it on day old hair rather than freshly washed just so it will keep a better hold on it.I would really recommend these as they are not only a massive bargain, but brilliant.

Das Gerät konnte nicht getestet werden, es wird mit falschem Stecker geliefert, passt in Deutschland nicht. Adapter natürlich nicht dabei.....Ärgerlich ist, dass bisher in der Artikelbeschreibung nicht darauf hingewiesen wurde. Gerät wurde mit Begründung zurückgesandt und wir haben eine Neubestellung nach Rücksprache veranlasst- erfolglos, wieder falscher Stecker.

Das kann es nicht sein!!! Falscher Adapter funktioniert hier nicht! !!!! Zurück senden war wohl ergolglos.. werde mich jetzt schlau machen wir man es sonst benutzen kann!
