As a vegan, it can be difficult to find well suited, good tasting protein powders. There are very mixed opinions with this powder so I would like to weigh in with my opinion:If you are transitioning to vegan or vegan protein from whey then this may be a little difficult to stomach. I found at first that following the instructions on the tub made for a gritty and not-so-pleasant drink.Do not despair though because this can be made quite palatable - with the addition of a plant-based milk and maybe half or a whole banana, blended well on a high speed for a minute or two and it is far smoother and much more pleasant to drink.This is my main protein powder and I only drink it how I have outlined above due to the "gritty" texture if blended with water. I think it is unfair to expect this protein to perform the same way as animal proteins because it is exactly not that. Would I recommend this product? Yes - but with the premise that the buyer is willing to experiment to get the most of of the powder and is not expecting miracles straight out of the tub.

So, this is chocolate flavour right? Well, it certainly smells that way when you open the tub. My first attempt was mixed with soya milk, the second with water. The water is slightly easier to drink. The protein ratio is quite low but you do get 18g for 25g of powder. So in all a good source. This 18g according to the tub is about 33% of your daily needs.....not when I need 200g it isn’t. It also suggests that you only use twice a day. Given the response to my stomach I can see why....it’s not nice. Sits in the stomach just fine...when it comes out...wear a mask. The flavour.....if you like the taste of watery pea with a hint of chocolate then go for it. I will not buy this again but will choke down the remaining tub with a desperate attempt to hide the awe full flavour. Yuk

The powder itself if great. I feel awesome after one of these, no artificial junk and it has some probiotics too. I got the summer fruits flavour and although it is not sweet like most other shakes, it is nice, I actually prefer the savoury flavour now. Bear in mind this doesn't contain sucralose like most powders so it won't have that crazy sweet flavour and you CAN'T expect that from a product with no artificial flavours and barely any carbs. I would rather it be savoury and not full of junk. Also I like how it doesn't leave a nasty taste and make my breath smell horrible like other shakes can, this is probably because it isn't full of sugar and other junk.I have had to drop it to 3 stars though, purely as the chocolate and strawberry flavour is £38 at the moment and the summer fruits is £28... Considering other websites can sell the other 'Reflex' flavours for £28, and the page says this comes straight from Reflex themselves, then why the hell can't they sell their own product for a competitive price? Why limit us to only summer fruits flavour only? I wan't to buy other flavours, but I don't feel like getting robbed for £10 in the process, every sip would taste like wasted money. I will update this to 5 star when the price is amended to actually make sense... £28 is bang on for this shake, perfect price, drop the price of the other flavours to £28 too like they are on every other website please...

This is just about the best vegan protein for the money. It's extremely hard to find flavoured protein supplements which don't have a host of undesirable synthetic sweeteners in them. This just has stevia.My only criticism of this product is that it has quite a lot of salt in it per serving. To get your 19g of protein you need two scoops into 300ml of water. If you have three shakes a day you'll have had near 35% of your salt RDA, so this protein is quite salty compared to other vegan proteins in the same price range (E.G sci mx pro v gain). Also the half size scoop is a bit annoying. I found a scoop double the size of it and use this so I can quickly drop the 19g protein serving into the water then mix straight away to avoid mixing issues. Overall though an excellent easily mixed product for the money. Btw, don't shake it too much in your mixer as it goes so thick that you'll struggle to drink it!

Most of the reviews for this reflex vegan protein seem to be based on the taste alone..which is missing the point really as this product is a nutritional supplement not a comfort drink filled with junk! There is no artificial sweeteners in this, stevia is used instead which i personally think is great because it means I don't have to go out and spend a fortune on a tub of stevia or other natural sweetener. By the way I don't mind the taste of this, it just is what it is...pea protein with some cocoa powder and stevia and no crap!! AND the peas are not sourced from china... I am not a vegan but am gradually using less dairy based proteins in favour of this & hemp which combined gives a good amino acid profile. Add a banana, big teaspoon of raw cocoa powder, some peanut butter, some ground up oats and some cinnamon, two scoops of reflex pea and a scoop of hemp Mixed with either just water, almond milk or goats milk..enjoy! This is a great clean, plant based supplement produced by a great British company REFLEX 💪🏻

Very pleased with this stuff, does the job for someone why cant use whey based protein due to dairy issues. Mixes really well, i make mine with soya milk rather than water. Taste is perfectly fine as long as you remember this is a sports product to do a job, and not a McDonalds chocolate milkshake!I use this to make a breakfast shake in my nutrabullet. 25g of powder, 1 banana, 1 teaspoon of peanut butter, a few cashew nuts, 1 teaspoon of cacao powder. Blend for 10 seconds and enjoy.

been using it for two weeks now - seems to be working well its just the taste i am struggling with. I am a vegan and find the taste a bit off putting even though it claims to "Rich Chocolate" however as another reviewer said - this does have all natural ingredients so for that i can put up with it.I find it mixes best with hemp milk.Its fine I am happy with it and will buy more when i finish from Amazon.
