I paid around about the £5 mark for 100 if these which in comparison to other things did seem a little expensive - if anything because his by getting debris and I was not sure they would be appropriate.I didn't get them for use in the shower and as some of the other reviews suggest they are not great for this purpose.I have been suffering with tinnitus for 7 months and didn't want to add to to add to this by getting 100 year old dust and dirt in my ear whilst renovating an old property. I also wear moldable ear buds whilst working but dust could still enter the ear and go in when removing. I am told that I am not starting any new fashion statement but it's not like I'm wearing them around town and these have been highly useful for my purposes to the point where I don't care how ridiculous they look. The clear soft plastic protects my ears (which are biggish) and the elastic is enough so that they fit over my ears without pulling too tightly. They may not be the most comfortable things to wear but I don't know of any other product on the market that is available. I wear these on a daily basis and now 100 pieces for £5 doesn't seem too bad for the cost of preserving my health.

I bought these to solve a specific problem, which is that my son perforated his eardrum but wasn't going to be allowed to use this as an excuse to dodge the shower for a month while it healed.He has made good use of them, and they have broadly done what was required, but they aren't necessarily up to withstanding the vigorous gathering technique of a 13 year old boy, and even when I nicked a couple to protect my ears when dyeing my hair, I have to say that they aren't easy to attach securely - it think a slightly tighter elastic would have been helpful.So it's 4 stars from us. It mostly does the job, but could do a little better. Still a lot better than trying to manage without, though.

I use these ear plastic covers/protectors in conjunction with a pair of bespoke ear plugs made specially for my ears with an ear specialist in the UK. My bespoke ear plugs + the ear plastic protectors have prevented any water from entering into my ears. In my opinion the plastic ear protectors used on their own would not prevent water from getting into your ears.So I am happy with my purchase and will order more of these covers in the future.These ear protectors arrived quite fast using Amazon express option so I am very happy with Amazon's speedy service.

Having had ear surgery I needed to make sure that my ear stayed dry. These protectors are not water tight and should not be used while taking a shower. Basically, I covered my ear with them and washed my hair separately, holding my head so that water wouldn't run over my ear. Nonetheless, they made sure that water wouldn't accidentally splash over and wet my ear.

Little difficult to get on but otherwise stop the majority of the shower water flooding the ears. Of course if you put the full jet on the front you're negating them.
