Used this in my Ryobi mitre saw. Only lasted a few cuts before the device side contacts heated up and melted the plastic holding them. The plastic warped and would no longer make contact with the saw. Pure junk. All the Chinese adapters are probably the same. It could have been designed with just a bit more plastic between the metal contacts so they didn't warp inwards, which may have worked.
