A stunner in Sea Salt
This is a bit of an indulgence for my new kitchen, but it's just gorgeous. This is my first Le Creuset piece in Sea Salt which I was hoping would suit my new kitchen. It's a gorgeous muted blue-green-gray shade. Sort of a grayed down aqua. Truly beautiful. And the shape of the piece with the silver-toned, stem-shaped handle makes it a really special accent piece. I couldn't be happier. Le Creuset is always an indulgence, but some of the pieces are so worth it. This one definitely is for me.

So cute!
I bought this for a Christmas gif for my sister and she loves them oven safe and perfect for potpies.

Cute but think twice if you’re wanting to use it for pies
This is an adorable baking dish. I was excited to receive it and purchased it to bake pumpkin pie in. I liked that it had a lid so I could keep it covered until ready to serve… that was my mistake. I noticed right away the mat the lid has a contour that goes inside of the dish but it was just so cute I decided I’d figure it out after I’d baked my pie. I made the pie crust from scratch and tried to make sure to keep the crust on the “inside” of the pie area and kept it nice and thick. The crust was sturdy enough that it held the lid up in its own but I opted to put a plate upside down over the pie and then put the lid on top of that to protect the pie. There are product images of this dish with a casserole in it which I think it unfortunately might be better for or maybe even serving mashed potatoes or something similar in. Still adorable but would have been even better as a covered pie dish!
