SMALLRIG Field Monitor Mount/Mini Quick Release Plate for LCD Monitors, Magic Arm, LED Light, EVF Mounts - 1855

Bought this to replace a similar product which had far too much play when locked, it rattled about and made me think my Monitor was about to come off at anytime. This is a more expensive alternative but worth the extra cash as the reviewer above stated, locks pretty secure a tiny amount of play but to me acceptable compared to the previous one I have been using. Well made sturdy enough and very convenient if like me you want Quick Release for your LCD, it obviously has other Mounting options as well, but for my needs its perfect Recommend.

I needed a fitting to attach a marine sextant to a tripod mount (for some testing) and couldn't find anything until I came across this little gizmo.Works perfectly - the tripod side fits to my large tripod (and could work on a larger, professional one with a 3/8" screw) and the "hanger" hole on the other side fits the extended screw on the sextant's handle.It's a very solid piece of kit!

This mount performs just as well as it’s near-£100 competitor for a fraction of the price.Comes with everything you need to install (in many different variations) and feels very secure on my £1k monitor. Very rarely is hard to slide apart and very easy to slide in it is the perfect companion for my noga arm!

Locks together very well, it’s quite big though (compared to cinelock) and when the two pieces are not together the edges are very sharp - watch out if it’s on a top handle!

Sturdy but a little sticky in removing. Also needs smoothing on edges after I cut myself

A very effective but expensive quick release. Much better than other similar items as this gives an almost perfectly stable lock-on
