MaxMark Dater 2000 Self Inking Date Stamp - Red

They refunded my money, and sent me a brand new stamper. This stamper is amazing. The gears don't slip, and it worked lettering the first time. Thank you so much for the amazing customer service.I'm not sure if I received a dud, but the stamper I received is not working properly. The only way to set the date is to manually turn the gears. The gears are so messed up andwillnot turn properly, they slip a lot. It took about an hour to set the correct date. When I finally got it set my hands and the stamper were completely covered in ink. The only good thing about this stamper is the ink. After scrubbing my hands twice, my fingers are still black. The picture is after scrubbing my hands twice. I will be returning this item.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The plastic is a little flimsy but it really doesn’t need to be heavy and expensive because I don’t get it out very often.

It's a perfect little organization tool. If you have to keep dates on any papers that are mailed to you, school work, check books, etc. it puts just a touch of simplicity to your workload.

Once you get it set, the stamper works well but...To turn the wheels to set the date, you have to push the bottom end in and try to hold it with one hand while moving the somewhat stiff wheels with the other handThe spinners are thin and jagged. They're jagged to make it easier to spin them, but it makes it harder on fingers.I've used traditional date stampers many times and it was never this difficult to turn the wheels to change the date. Maybe it's because it's new, but it's a nuisance because the extra pressure and fiddling put ink on my fingers.Once you use it a few times, it might get easier to switch dates, but new out of the box it's somewhat awkward.Outside of switching dates, the stamper works fine. The date impression is clear.

This product arrived in good shape and arrived very quick. The only complaint, (if you can call it a complaint), is it is a lot smaller than it appears in the photo & description. However, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Such a great deal on a custom stamp!

This is a very small and cheap stamp. Very difficult to set the date as you basically have to blindly spin the wheel and then do a test stamp and then readjust. The actual day portion of the stamp was distracting in that it was larger than the month and year and had wide spacing between the first and second digits

The media could not be loaded.  Turned up, got it out the box, went to change the date, and the wheel for the first number broke, and now just spins. I can’t change the date- waste of money and poor quality.FYI: You also get ink all over your fingers when you change the date - frustrating but not the end of the world.
