I bought this for my SInger 201. My machine has the original button-type foot pedal hard-wired into it but it doesn’t work well (even though I rehabbed the pedal after watching YouTube videos). I read that my machine would run with an electronic pedal and cord combo, even with the original pedal hard-wired into it. YES! This new foot pedal gives me amazing control running my vintage machine PLUS it came with a VERY NICE pad to go under the pedal so it doesn’t scoot across the floor. The pad is large and has nice heft. It measures about 14 inches high and 11 inches wide. The carpet-like center is about 8.75 inches high by 8 inches wide. It has two pieces of sticky tape that will adhere to the pedal to hold it down. I can use this pad with any of my other traveling foot pedals if I use the sticky tape to attach one part of velcro to the pad and the soft part of velcro to my other pedals.This took confidence to insert into my machine. It is not a loose fit. I carefully lined up the holes with the prongs in my machine and just pressed it in firmly. It has a nice, long power cord too. Completely satisfied! This was a great deal in my opinion.

I bought this for my granddaughter to use with the family Featherweight 221. Imagine our disappointment when there was no way that the plug fit into the machine's receptacle. It didn't matter which direction we tried to insert it; nothing worked. I returned it and am very disappointed with the false advertising.

This does not fit my machine correctly. it is quite a struggle to attach to machine. If I can attach it, it fits very loosely. Would not recommend or buy again. Because this is a travel machine I missed my return window by not trying it as soon as I got the product. My machine is a Featherweight 221

Great idea in theory, but the platform does not go flat on the floor. It is curled up on the sides and does not grip the carpet to stabilize the foot pedal. Returned it. Junk. The cord and pedal were fine.

easy to use

This pedal works great! We got it to replace our old one which broke and we were not sure how to find the right replacement as it is an old sewing machine. Thank goodness we found it here and the pedal works perfectly. Item as described, smooth delivery
