I recently purchased a set of security cameras that screw into a light socket, and I have to say, I'm absolutely thrilled with my purchase! These cameras are an incredible innovation that make it so easy to keep an eye on my property, both inside and outside my home.The first thing that impressed me about these cameras is how easy they are to install. All I had to do was unscrew my light bulb and screw in the camera - it was that simple! I love that I didn't have to mess around with any wiring or complicated installation instructions.But the ease of installation is just the beginning. These cameras are also incredibly effective at what they do. The picture quality is excellent - I can see every detail of what's going on, even in low light conditions. And the field of view is impressive - I can see a wide area with just one camera.But what I love most about these cameras is the peace of mind they give me. I can check in on my home at any time, from anywhere, using my smartphone or tablet. Whether I'm at work, running errands, or even on vacation, I can see what's going on and make sure everything is okay. And if there's ever any suspicious activity, I'll be the first to know.Overall, I would highly recommend these security cameras that screw into a light socket to anyone who's looking for an easy and effective way to monitor their home. I connected this camera through my Google Wi-Fi. Google Wi-fi supports both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz. That's important, because this camera works on 2.4Ghz only. It connected without any issues whatsoever and the process was simple.Inserting the SD Card is easy. Just gently move the lens down to reveal the slot and insert the card. I formatted the card as exFAT on my PC first, and the camera recognized the card right away. 128 GB card. When the card gets full, it overwrites the earliest clips. Based on how much motion you get in the area, you could have weeks worth of recordings on a card that size before it needs to start overwriting.The lights on the device obviously aren't going to light up an area like a floodlight, but that's ok. It lights enough for when you need to see in color. The Infrared (Black & White) view is good enough as well.Getting the camera onto my Google Home was easy too. In the Google Home app I linked my Wansview account and the camera appeared in the Google Home app. I added it to a new room called "Driveway" since that's where the camera is. Now I just tell my Google Hub "Show me the camera" and I can see the feed!Here are some cool things about the camera I appreciate.1) The range of motion and the ability to control the direction of the camera with the app.2) The ability to set 4 favorite positions so I can quickly move between them.3) The intelligent tracking, as it detects something in its field of view, it follows it until it is no longer in the field of view. This can be disabled so you can keep it in a fixed position.4) The ability to stream previous clips directly from the camera. No need to remove the SD Card, you can view the timeline and view all the clips right from the app and download what you need.5) Remote control of the light. We live in Maine and we have a Brown Tail Moth problem so we have to keep our lights off at night to avoid attracting them to our property. But there are times when we're coming home late a little light to see our house is needed. We can open the app, turn on the light, and then turn it off as soon as we're home. You can even set a schedule for when that light comes on and off. It's great.6) Being able to stream over cellular data without massive lag. Whatever this camera does to stream video to the app makes it work perfectly over cellular data. I also appreciate how the app reminds you you're on cellular so you don't burn up data in case you didn't realize you weren't connected to wifi.All in all, this camera is a great value for the money. If you're looking for a little peace of mind but don't have hundreds of dollars to invest in one of the "top brands" for cameras, you can't go wrong with this. I'm very happy with this camera and will gladly purchase more of this brand as my needs expand.

First off, the product works as advertised, which seems to not always be the case. The out of the box connectivity was a breeze, the picture quality during daylight, night time or ambient lighting, was spot on with no real interruptions even during motion tracking. The camera provides ample light to illuminate a path or to surprise anyone or anything when activated. The Wansview Cloud app is on another level, from all the selections for customization, to the picture quality on the screen, even to the ability of turning certain features on or off. The app certainly was thought out.Now the things that I wish could be tweaked, certainly don't out weigh the qualities I listed before. However, the 'motion alert' feature is a great idea but it alerts me when a fly passes the camera or when there's a small change in lighting. Even after turning down the sensitivity to it's lowest setting, it still sends an alert. I also wish there were different 'Detection areas' for different camera views, at the moment there seems to only be one. Plus I don't feel the detection area is working as designed. I currently have the camera facing a high traffic area and minimized the detection area to only detect the lower half but it still seems to alert me when anything passes above the dividing line, which the footage confirms.Other than that, this product is solid and worth the money. I'm not sure if the camera can get any better but if they try, I'll be in line. At some point, I hope they develop a doorbell camera that has a high level degree of view. I'll be in line for that one as well.
