Great for teaching kids maths and money skills
Bought this for my 7 year old Nephew. He likes the game. It is a great way of letting children get used to handling money and understanding whether they have enough to buy an item and how much change they should give or get back when buying items. We used scrap paper to show him how to work out the sums properly on paper. Great game and fun too.

Would recommend it for children struggling with counting money
Chosen by my wife for my daughter who struggled with counting money. Apart from the first game which was difficult for her and she got tired half way through (we changed banker) it has worked a treat. She's now even able to calculate the change in her head after 3-4 games. Would recommend it for children struggling with counting money. The game itself is interesting for the children as something happens with every move. We've tweaked the game to give only £5 for passing the start point. Also it gets more tricky as the realises that there is only 2 spare coloured item for each colour and start stocking them up or give a present that is useless to others. Would definitely recommend.

great fun way to learn math and they don't even realise that's what is happening.

Price is right!! Buy it!!
I bought this game as Xmas present for my family as its a tradition to buy a board game at Xmas! I decided to buy it on recommendation of a friend! It is a brilliant game to get children used to looking at money (notes, different coins etc) and there are different ways to play the game according to the child's "maths" ability! It has helped my 7 & 9 yr old become more confident with money, recognising different coins & working out what change is needed & working to a budget!Well worth the price!

Unsure as this was a gift.
I believe there will be many winter nights of fun and learning. A good way of making learning fun. However instructions could be simplified.

learning difficulties
my daughter has dyscalculia and so we tried this game, she has no concept of money at aged 12. we play it and she can identify the coins, she now plays it with her 4 yr old sister, and tries to teach her with it, its going strong , quite a good game but needs parental help

Learning whilst playing
I researched lots of money games to play with my 7 year old. I ordered this. We got the hang of the game very quickly. She doesn't mind at all that she has to use maths to work out the money and change etc. She loves finding all the right coins in the cash register. I'm really pleased with this game. Shes working out change really quickly and easily and we have only played it twice. Highly recommend this game
