Canon Speedlite 600EX II-RT Flash for Camera- Black , CAN2699

Bought used on here (amazon), works a charm, nothing to note about this, its a large heckin' flash!

I've used this speed lite on 3 occasions now at presentation evenings and I've found it produces amazing photos from whatever distance I've been away from the subjects.Before I purchased this Canon speedlite I've been using a Nissan Di866 mark11 which I've been happy with over the years but it is nothing like as good as the Canon.I've yet to try all of the different settings that are available but I'll soon have more time to experiment with them and then I may think its better than I already think it is.It turned out to be an even better bargain than I thought as I received the £80 cash bonus back from Canon after registering it on the Canon website.

Being a photographer, Cyrus provided an excellent service for a fellow keen photographer. The Speedlite arrived quickly via DHL and was in mint condition. Plus Cyrus also includes some additional accessories (rechargeable battery kit), which was a nice surprise. I’m very happy with my purchase and highly recommend Cyrus as a seller.

Works very well with my EOS 5D MkIV. Charging is fast and exposure is spot on, using ETTL mode.What more can I say. A great gun.

It's a Canon Speedlite! What more to add?

The 600 ex ii rt (mk2) is a slight revision of the mk1 version. It's mainly the interface that has changed, that's much better with less button presses and uses the control dial for direct access to main functions. There are 2 colour filters and a diffuser included, these are good, better than gels. Canon claim faster recycling, but that's mainly in the very low power settings, full power recycling is only 10% faster. Now the bad - Canon have improved recycling speed, but they have also introduced a heat control system that slows down the rate you can shoot. I use Canon's new CPE4n pack with eneloops, this is the recommended dedicated pack. If I shoot a burst of frames on low drive at 1/2 power to fill in (such as a bride & groom leaving the church) it will shoot 3 frames, then 4 will be black, then 1, another 4 black, then 1 ...and so on. The mk 1 will shoot every other frame consistently. So in my test over 13 frames on 1/2 power low speed drive 3fps with an external pack i got only 5 frames with the mk2 vs 8 with the mk1. I found i get more black frames with mk2 even while shooting at a slower rate which is a pain. I've used Canon flashes for 17 years and never over heated one, so this heat limiting, flash release throttling is annoying. The new case is also stupidly large.I bought this from Amazon for £460, less £80 Canon cashback, so £380.

Ho acquistato tale dispositivo dato che volevo sostituire il modello 580 ex II in mio possesso. Tra cashback e offerte di amazon sono riuscito ad acquisirlo al costo di un 600 ex rt usato, per cui non avrebbe avuto senso optare per il precedente modello.Rispetto al modello 580 ex II le migliorie sono notevoli:- maggiore gamma di lunghezze focali disponibili, per la parabola interna: in particolare, poter arrivare a 200mm consente di avere un facio luminoso maggiormente "stretto", in modo da illuminare selettivamente certe zone e non sprecare inutilmente energia.- schermo più grande e struttura dei menu migliori- numero di lampeggi continuativi effettuabili molto superiore, prima che l'unità si surriscaldi (questo è uno dei motivi che mi ha portato a preferirlo al 600 ex rt, offerte a parte)- possibilità di essere comandato in remoto sia tramite dispositivi wireless (st-e2) che radio.Utilizzo l'unità con 6d mark II, 1d mark IV e 1dx, e il flash riesce a gestire i 12 fps di quest'ultima, con un numero di mancati lampeggi minore, rispetto al 580 ex II. Chiaramente è consigliabile un gruppo batterie esterno: al momento utilizzo il CP-E4.Il difetto principale che ho riscontrato non è funzionale, bensì relativo al costo degli accessori originali per la trasmissione radio (in particolare il dispositivo ST-E3). Ho comunque provato i trigger Yongnuo yn-622c e - anche se non tutte le impostazioni sono regolabili dalla fotocamera (la compatibilità non è completa) - si riesce comunque ad attivare il flash a distanza.Chiaramente il sistema più affidabile è il cavo, se le distanze tra flash e fotocamera non sono eccessive.

Ich bin überzeugter Canon-User und das ist mein zweites Blitzlicht neben dem Vorgängermodell 600EX RT. Mit dem Speedlite Transmitter ST-E3-RT kann ich problemlos entfesselt blitzen. Mich überzeugt die Qualität der Produkte, die ich meist im Zusammenhang mit einer Canon Cash back Aktion erworben habe, was den happigen Preis etwas mildert.

Habe vorher ein Produkt einer anderen Firma gekauft das wohl mit meiner Kamera nicht kompatibel war obwohl es dafür ausgewiesen war. Hat in keinster Weise funktioniert. Ich bleibe jetzt bei Canon.

Très très bon flash, un peu cher mais l'investissement vaut le coup surtout si vous shootés en rafale, le flash recycle extrêmement vite en le TTL est parfait!
