I read reviews before buying and am very pleased with purchase. Its not a thick mattress but it certainly does the job.

It is not soft at all, but it is better what I had, you will get what you paid.

I looked around for a few week before deciding to by this mattress. I looked in Argos and many other Amazon sellers aswell as some catalogues but by far the best valued was this one and also it fitted, on paper, all of mine and my partners needs.I suffer very bad back pain and my old sprung mattress was causing a lot of pain in my lower back and making it very difficult to sleep for more than a couple of hours in the bed and also getting out of it was very hard as I could not pull myself up. I also am disabled having a paralyzed right leg.So after reading the reviews and description and comparing this to other mattress with similar descriptions/aspects I decided on this one, and very glad I did.It is very early days but so far I have noticed a huge difference.For starters I can sleep for longer without waking up in pain, im not saying I have no pain because I always have lower back pain unfortunately but it has made a significant difference. Also getting out of bed is no longer an issue as I can pull myself up without pain stopping me.This mattress also has great support for me and my partner and either of us do not feel the other in the bed or getting into or out of the bed, unless we want to!It always reverts back to its original shape after a nights sleep.The description is correct from seller.The mattress is firm but as you lay on the mattress you feel it molding to your body to give firm support in areas that need it and dont.So right now I have no complaints. I would of expected it to come in a box for added protection when being transported and delivered but thats a minor and no damage was on the mattress.easy to unwrap and we let it swell to its 15CM size as that was the advice on packaging and reviews, we left ours for about 15 hours but 12 probably would of been adequate. thats a personal choice you should make.I can say that for the price you WILL NOT find a better mattress.And if you need a comfortable, orthopedic mattress then buy this now!Ill update if there is any change which I expect there will not be.Thanks seller.

Although there has been mixed reviews here, I still went and bought it anyway due to the price. It was well worth it! The thickness was approximately what the description said. You really just have to let the mattress air out for at least 2 days, and not put any pressure on it. The firmness I would say is on the medium to firm, depending on your weight. I'm about 175lbs, btw. The smell did go away after 3 or so days, just let the window open to ventilate. Would suggest to put in a thick topper if you like softer beds. I would say the pillows are waaaay to soft though.Would have given 5 stars if the memory foam was a little thicker, but overall a good mattress to have. I've had it for almost a month now, btw.

Review is based on order placed on the 9th August 2013, for the above: 4FT6 DOUBLE MEMORY FOAM AND REFLEX 3 ZONE MATTRESS MICRO QUILTED MAXI-COOL COVER AND T EDGED UK MANUFACTURED AND GET 2 FREE FIBER FILL PILLOWSDELIVERYThe Mattress got stuck in the despatch system, and so I had to contact the despatch company several times to check why a delivery hadn't been made (this was approximately 2 weeks after placing the order!Please note, the courier service used to despatch this item won't give you an estimated time for delivery, they can only tell you that it will arrive between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00. This is fine if you intend to be in all day, but not great if you need to work! Also, a card was left advising that they'd missed me, but they'd attempt delivery again the next day. I waited all day and nothing arrived! I had to call their despatch office in the end to re-arrange delivery. Also note, they only operate Monday to Friday. If you are not going to be in, I'd recommend making arrangements for a neighbour to receive it instead, and leave a note for the driver explaining this; otherwise, they could send it back to the supplier (after a couple of failed deliveries) and potentially ask you to pay delivery again.PACKAGINGWhen it arrived, it was set in a roll (much to my surprise!), bound in plastic wrap. I was surprised at how light the package was. Once you've removed the packaging, you have to lay the mattress out flat and leave it for 24-48 hours to set/expand.PRODUCTThe mattress itself is very light, and feels very flat and solid when you lay on it. The soft/stretchy outer fabric seems reasonably comfortable, but the mattress as a whole feels too thin and has absolutely no spring to it.This is my first memory foam mattress, but right now, I feel it will be my last. I have slept on this mattress for over two months now and every morning I wake up with aches and pains in my back, neck and shoulders. I'm a 30yr old man, relatively fit and healthy and no stranger to sleeping on a sofa or floor in the past. Based on my reaction the mattress, I don't feel this would be suitable for anyone that already suffers from back pains, or requires prolonged time in bed. If you've never had a memory foam mattress like this before, I would recommend you to take a visit to a retailer that stocks them on show and have a feel first. This one is only 15cm deep, so be sure to find one that matches.OVERALLThis is a relatively cheap mattress, which reflects in both price, look and feel of the item. Please pay no attention to the note: "reduced from RRP £300" that is advertised in the description at the time of writing this review. This mattress isn't worth £300, £200 or even £100. £50 - £80 is reasonable, and in my opinion the mattress should only be used as a spare. For the price, the quality is borderline acceptable.This is a clearly a situation where 'You get what you pay for', and what you are paying for here is a cheap mattress that might be okay as a spare for temporary use, but is by no means a bargain!

Arrived very quickly and before expected date. Also well packaged. I was very unsure about the purchase having read some of the reviews but decided to give it a go. Very glad I did. You don't get a very thick bit of memory foam but what do you expect for the price. If that's what you want then I suggest you pay out more money. I am recovering from a slipped disc and find it very comfortable and do not feel the slats under the mattress. I also do not feel any hotter on this mattress then I did on my old one which was a concern of mine. The pillows (which are free) are not to bad, it just depends on what you like. Just make sure you fluff them up when you get them and leave as you would the mattress. I use mine on its own and find it very comfortable. My husband on the other hand prefers a firmer pillow. As for the smell, well we didn't really notice it, but again it will depend on your sense of smell. I would definitely buy this mattress again
