I love everything about them. The first set I baught had one small cosmetic issue I contacted U King and they straighten the matter out immediately great costumer service. I will admit after hearing some bad reviews I was a little skeptical. But as a wise man once told me believe half of what you hear none of what you see and then check it out there great. So don’t take anyone else’s word for it checked him out yourself I guarantee you love you like I do yes happy customer.

Love the effect these provide, it looks particularly amazing with a fog machine!However the cheap plastic housing prevents these from being perfect, they make a lot of noise. It won't mater as long as the music keeps playing, but the second it stops you can hear these babies clickity clacking and making a ruckus.That being said, these are an improvement over the first spider light I ordered from U King, which was defective. I am glad to see the manufacturer fixed the issue and cares about their products.

The media could not be loaded.  This set of spider lights is fantastic, but a caution to the home user. If you are an amateur like me, do yourself a favor and pick-up a $60.00 DMX-512 controller. While you can operate these lights without one, you will be forever frustrated by the less than friendly menu and unreliable instructions.These lights do function in auto and sound mode, but neither are very good. You will be disappointed by the sound mode that does not seem to follow the beat or the lyrics and fires each light independently. The auto mode is even worse as it seems that the lights will fly off the housing at the frenetic speed they run despite the "24" settings for auto.Setting these lights to 9 channel DMX mode and operating through the board is beyond easy and will alleviate any frustrations you had running these in auto or sound mode. They are completely responsive, and you will come to love channel 7. This is labeled as "light band green dimming" but actually allows you to cycle through all of the light modes once you set your light bar positions with 1 and 2 and your brightness with 3. The video was shot with me just moving channel seven back and forth with no programmed chases. Two shots of fog were added to highlight the light beams.The outer LED bands add an extra look to these that is terrific. These lights can really drive a home or small party show as stand-alone lights with no lasers or spots.These come with brackets for light bar mounting and there are rubber feet on the base for a floor display. When placing end-up like I have in the video and photos, these lights will travel as there are no rubber feet on the ends. You will need to secure these with double-sided tape or by applying rubber feet to the ends.I was initially disappointed by these lights when I ran in auto or sound modes. I am now head over heels in love with them since I started using my DMX controller in 9 channel mode. These are terrific lights that give a great show if they are properly manipulated.

These lights are somewhere between a spotlight and a wash. They are bright and colorful. The lights themselves are well-made and have a metal housing. Good for lighting up a wide area in a bright colored light. 5 stars.

Great for a home party or kids room but I needed something a lil more but they worked fine moves fast

I got these lights because the pictures look amazing, but let me just say "Caveat Emptor" (Let the buyer beware.) I was really hoping these would add some fun ambiance to my home-bar, but sadly, they're really disappointing. Maybe if they were used in a large space they'd be more spectacular, but I would not recommend them for home use.

The media could not be loaded.  Bright and nice colors. Seem to be fairly sturdy. Putting it on sound mode could work a little better but I will be using with a DMX board anyway.

I have a few spider lights in my party lighting inventory to give a good comparison to this UKing set of mini spiders. These are the most lightweight ones I have, although these a bit smaller, they are called mini after all. The colors cubes are fixed (2 red, 2 white, 2 green, and 2 blue in each unit), like many other similar types of this light, called spiders. They remind me of stop lights.This set differs from my other spiders, by adding a strip of LED strips on either side, which gives a different look and undoubtedly more color to the red, blue, green and white lights. This unit produces the visual effect of squares/rectangles of solid red, green, blue, or white blocks of light, which really isn't that exciting in terms of color. I have spider lights that have varying different colors in the cubes. I have to admit that I like those better because it gives you more mood effects. The patterns offered are quite plentiful however.There are 24 different auto show effects within this light. You DO NOT NEED A DMX Controller with these lights, but can certainly be used if you want more options. The LED strips of light offer a lot more color but they are quite dim in comparison to the cubes of red, green, blue, and white light. These are the most quiet of the units I own as well, although a bit smaller.
