Handsome small espresso maker. The unit is very adequate for what it does, a great single or double shot. Very little to clean afterwards. To me it is a small machine. I am used to the Saeco/Starbucks original espresso machine which has a 90 oz water holder, which means I can have doubles for a couple of weeks before refilling the reservoir. So, with this little machine and just a ~40 oz reservoir I had to refill after 3 or 3 double shots. Oh, well. Otherwise it is very good, it heats up fast, you see the temp and pressure, gives a good crema. The (almost) tamper provided is fine, but spring for a 49 mm one if you can, makes things easier.Update: 8 months after buying it, it stopped working. Electricity goes into the machine when plugging it in, but no button works. Sent video to manufacturer and received the offensive response 'plug it in and press the button'. My video showed me doing exactly that, and the machine having no response. Another email from the manufacturer included a instructions to take the machine apart, and video how to do it. Really????Thankfully, Amazon to the rescue....-- I am not lowering the rating since I rated the machine for what it is, not the manufacturer or the customer service. Come to your own conclusions regarding the manufacturer and cs.In any case, this, and any machine similar to that, with pressurized portafilter, is good for a quick-n-easy, peace-of-mind shot, since the machine controls most functions and the water is preset (you can reset to your liking) usually. You don't need to be on top of the machine to control the water/shot, as it is the case with higher end machines.

I bought this for the size. I have a small kitchen, so space is at a premium.It wasn't hard to set up or get going with the step by step instructions.It is a little bit light. Locking the brew basket into place can be a challenge because it is hard to find a good way to brace the machine due to it's configuration, but that is the trade off for the small size.It makes a good, hot espresso. Perfect for my husband's favorite lattes!About 3 months after purchase, the frothing wand ceased to work, and I figured that I was out of luck. I had received several follow up emails from the company, so I responded to one on the off chance that they could help. I was pleasanly surprised when they responded. After exchanging a few photos and videos, they sent me a new machine. They have even followd up since to make sure that all was well. I have never had such great customer service from an online company. I highly recommend this machine ( for lighter home use) and Iquire. I would definitely purchase from them again.

We bought this espresso machine Dec 2022. It makes a great espresso and foams the milk very well. The problem we have now, in less than 6 months, is the foam wand sprays out water when we brew the espresso. It started as a small drip now it's a steady stream. For almost $200 spent we expected to get at minimum of a year with a machine that works properly. Everyone claimed here how good the customer service was, but I wrote to them and have heard nothing back. Buyer beware, this machine will not last you very long.*UPDATE: the company has been very helpful in getting me a replacement. So far so good. This machine makes a wonderful espresso. I hope the new one lasts a bit longer.

I really loved this little machine until this morning. When I began steaming the milk the unit just stopped working. I unplugged it several times and still nothing. I then unplugged it again and let it sit for a couple of hours before trying again and still nothing. I would have rated higher than a 1 if it had lasted more than a year. I checked back and bought it on 12/14/22 :(

I am a novice in the making of espresso and researched many machines before selecting this one for purchase. I made a fabulous choice. It was easy to use the very first time and my first espresso was perfect. I have only had it for a few days, but every use has been problem free. I did buy some paper filters and a mesh filter, plus a nice weighted tamper, based on reviews I had read throughout my search, and I believe those add to the success. The only thing I find issue with, is it is lightweight, so holding it and clicking the portafilter into position is a little awkward. I will get it figured out. The size and function of this machine fit me perfectly. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I purchased this product because my old all metal expresso machine stopped working. This looked good, recieved decent reviews, and seemed like an excellent purchase for the money. It has plastic on the knobs for the frother, which doesn't work well at all. (Thankfully I have a separate milk frother). It arrived with the double expresso maker stuck in the wand (can't get it out and am afraid to damage it). While it does heat up and reach the required bars, it is inconsistent in the amount of water it sends out. Sometimes it produces a lot of expresso product, other times very little. The wait to make a second cup requires unplugging the machine to allow it to cool down, something my old one never required.I would keep looking. I will probably replace this with a better, even higher priced machine, after the first of the year. It is disappointing that quality is no longer reflected in price.

My daughter educated me and told me to get an espresso machine because I don’t even like coffee but only drink lattes. She was so right. Instead of going to Starbucks I now make my own. It’s a nice little procedure, very simple. Making the espresso is super fast and frothing the milk is very simple too. All in all it takes just under 5 minutes including cleaning. I have saved a lot of money already by using this space saving machine. This is my second one. Something was wrong with my first one. I contacted the company and they took great care of it by replacing the machine. They communicate well and quickly.
