When my daughter was born we were having issues keeping her mittens on her because her wrist was so tiny. I got these mittens and the adjustable Velcro was perfect to fit her wrist. After washing and drying them the velcro starts to bend. So it started scratching her face up. Possibly hang dry them instead.

Our daughter was insistent on removing her eyeballs with her fingers - we tried the elastic mittens and might as well have just thrown them on her randomly because that’s where they ended up after 20 seconds. These actually stay on - the only concern is her rubbing on the velcro piece but if you take an extra second to align the strips together it’s not an issue at all. Added bonus when your baby is small you can use as socks as well 👍

The mitten design is fine, but the hard sharp plastic from the Velcro scratched my baby's face worse than a nail scratch.I'd avoid getting this product.

As most newborn moms know or soon discover, newborns have cute little talons for nails and they are often difficult to trim, these can buy you some time in between trimmings or even if it’s cold outside and you want your baby to have a small extra layer. The Velcro makes it stay on as opposed to just solid elastic that will fall off if it’s not the perfect fit.

I loved these at first but my 7 month old was able to get the velcro side unlatched and scratched her face in a matter minutes.

My niece kept scratching her face and the slip on mittens kept falling off. The Velcro helped keep in place. The mittens are easy to use, comfortable. I thought they were a great value she was only 3 weeks old and was tiny. The adjustable wrist size was a must. I thought they performed well. I would buy again.

I’m not a huge fan of the colors but who cares about that. They are light weight and they actually work! My son has pulled off 3 other brands that say the elastic or the Velcro will keep the gloves on, we have tried socks, long socks work for a little and he will still manage to pull them off, but these are a game changer. They actually stay on and he can still grab things with them on, granted not as well as when they are off but he can’t cut his face/ head anymore when they are on and he doesn’t seems to care about them. He lets us put them on and doesn’t fuss because they are big enough that he still has room to have his fingers extend. I was super skeptical and was just like well this is the next thing to fail but I was wrong but it! It didn’t disappoint, above and beyond my expectations!
