Roger Quilter: 55 Songs: High Voice The Vocal Library

Bought this book as a tenor to perform "come away death" and the notes where right and so was the text. It also has some other valuable songs such as mistress mine and bracelet and etc.

Gorgeous Edwardian songs, good for teaching and for recital as well.

I have a multitude of Hal Leonard Vocal Library publications in my library and I am very pleased with the quality... especially for the price. Even at full price (which I have yet to pay for one of these gems at Amazon), they are well worth it. I recommend "The Vocal Library" to students and educators alike.

I would have given it 5 stars if it came with accompaniment/performance audio.

Well worth the price or more. Quilter almost all in one book in clean, easy to read print at a bargain price was a no brainer for me. I am using one song already as part of the repertoire in a new exam programme,

This is an excellent collection of Quilter songs with a very good biography and informative notes on the songs also included. No other collection seems to include all the favourite songs as well as the less well-known ones, and at this price it represents amazing value.Only slight reservation is whether the pages will remain fixed in the book as some of my other Hal.Leonard collections have not survived regular usage very well, but we can't have everything!
