Easy to use but not easy to clean
After a couple of brews, tannin was starting to build in the spout where it’s very hard to remove. It’s nice to see the tea brewing though.

Excellent elegant teapot
This little elegant teapot is perfect for two mugs of tea. It has transformed my tea drinking habits from using teabags to better quality loose teas.Probably not a pot to put in the dishwasher.

Very Thin Strainer, No bits will go inside your drink!
Pleasantly surprised how thoughtfully and carefully this was packaged. Very well done & secure. The package comes with several paddings, bubble wrap, plastic wraps and paper paddings in a box which is then boxed in a larger box. The metal tea strainer is super fine, finest I have seen yet, so definitely not even the smallest tea dust will seep through. The metal lid for the tea pot is wrapped in plastic to avoid scratching. All parts are metal, not metal coloured plastic. Glass tea pot is large enough for 4 people to share ceremonial small cups of tea, or 2 large cups of tea for 2. Surprisingly, my pot, although well packaged, came with 1 long scratch and a dried mark/stain on it, which destroyed the overall experience a bit but it can be washed off. Overall, the quality of the tea pot seems very good & it has no other faults, I decided to rate 5 stars because I think it's an excellent glass tea pot & would make a beautiful gift for any tea lover.

Good but has limitations.
I bought this teapot for brewing speciality teas. It is not an everyday teapot. The glass is thin and delicate but has no problem standing up to the heat required to brew a cup of tea properly. I would not put this in the dishwasher in case it broke on contact with another item. It is resilient enough to stand the cycle itself but not a heavy impact if the washer wasn't packed well. It's easy enough to swill it out with a drop of water from the kettle after use - only takes a few seconds. The only area I'm not totally happy with is the lid. The edge is sharp and the little knob is a little loose. I've tightened it but it insists on being a bit floppy - (stop it!) The filter itself would be fine to use in another pot if necessary if the hole was a suitable size of course but the wide lip gives quite a bit of play. The lid only fits the filter and removing the filter to prevent over brewing results in an open top with little in the way of a solution. The filter would need emptying and replaced to utilise lid. This is good for the reason I bought it but it is not robust enough for everyday use. I expect a glass one for everyday use would be quite a bit more money. The size is perfect for two decent cups or four small Podstakannik and suchlike.

glass teapot
The teapot does what is supposed to do. the only reasoni give 4 stars for overall ratings is it's just a bit small for the price other than that every thing else is 5 star. nettle tea with honey mmmMMMM that's the first I've made and no messing about with pan's to brew in just put in the tea pot pour bioling water over your choice of tea. do a bit of cleaning then sit down to freshly made brew.enjoy

All good
For reference it is holding 500ml of coffee in this image.Removable tea holder is very useful, it also comes with little bags but I haven’t used those yet.Can fit a sponge in there so it’s not too hard to clean.

lovely little teapot
I'm British, and typically, I love my tea! This little teapot is a delight. It's clean and smart and enough for one person to have two cups of tea from it. I was doubtful about the spout as that looked a little, shall I say 'delicate'? But it's ok. I just keep it in the box and bubble wrap it came in to keep it safe. Would be lovely to have a cosy that keeps pots like this safe while packed away, as well as warm when hot water is in it. Any creators willing to go the extra mile?
