ForgeFix Chemical Anchor Resin - Polyester | 380ml | Grey | Per 1

This is quite a dark grey for chemical mortar.In case you don't know this is a general purpose builders two part adhesive and anchor mortar. A typical use would be fixing threaded bar in walls and so on. It has the advantage that you can fix to walls that would be otherwise unsuitable. Light block, for example, in which a traditional fixing may not grip well or eventually come loose because the block is too soft, or in a location where a traditional fixing may cause a split, such as close to the edges of brick, block or concrete where a traditional fixing may cause a split. I also use the stuff to glue in back-boxes. You can also use it to stick shattered brick back together to effect an external repair. It's an all round excellent mortar that sets in minutes and is way, way harder than standard mortar and of course completely waterproof.One advantage is that you can drill an over-size hole then place the anchor in with the object lined up correctly - so there is no problem with the hole being slightly in the wrong place.It's especially good for fixing sinks to light block walls. Gives a really solid fixing in not very solid walls!Anyway, does what it's suppose to and does it fast. Recommended!!

Excellent system fir tying in stainless steel bars into cracked walls. You must order the applicator gun to be able to use the epoxy, otherwise it won't work! Also I made a mistake of mixing it in the special nozzle about 5 mins before I started, and when I went back to the use it, it'd hardened in the nozzle! When I used it in the wall it gave me a good 15—20 mins before it started to harden. Great stuff to work with. Pretty sure this solid system will work with the stainless steel helical bar jammed inside.the epoxy.

I'm is very pleased with this product.

This resin bond does not disappoint as good as more expensive makes, it has many uses other than for wall fixings/anchors I have used versions of the resin bond for many repairs originally only available to mix in powder form the cartridges are so much easier.

This did not come with a joint spiral nozzle.

The grey mortar part of this 2 part filler had dried up and would not come out of the tube; only the black resin part would come through the nozzle. I have used other makes before which had a proper seal to keep the 2 parts dry until use - this tube used for this make doesn't have that so not surprising that it was dried up especially if it's been stored for a while by the supplier. Complete waste of time buying this product. Oh yes, and as other reviews have pointed out, the tube is a wider non-standard fit so you need to find a heavy duty applicator gun to use this stuff.
