SARLA Dark Brown Invisible Wire Hair Extension with Clips Beach Wave Short Synthetic Clip in Hairpiece for Women 16 Inch Size Adjustable

Finding a synthetic extension is challenging for me because my hair is what I call "cinnamon and sugar" - I was a natural redhead and the grey I have is light grey or white mixed with a light auburn. I won't wear human hair for the same reason I won't wear a real diamond...too many human rights concerns. Extensions are almost never made in any color that is close to mine.I purchased the silver blond and first dyed it a soft grey. You can find some great tutorials on YouTube on how to dye synthetic wigs and hairpieces. I used Rit Synthetic (buy online or in Joanne's or Michael's). The initial color was too light. So I got some more Rit Synthetic - this time in Chocolate Brown. I used hair foil to block off babylight width areas, because I do have some very light streaks in my hair. I did a test strip and I only had to leave it in the brown for under 5 minutes. Let it dry while saving the dye bath. I then used a disposible chip brush (like you paint trim with) to paint on darker areas later, because my hair has dark portions too. Once I got the color right, I used Cantu Co-wash conditioner on it to defrizz it, which also dulls the fake shine that synthetic has. You can also spray it with fabric softener mixed with water (cheaper than wig spray).This came out PERFECT! I bought this because I need "more hair" to do a braided style for my wedding. My hair is waist length and when braided, it's only 4" shorter than the extension, but I don't have as much fullness as I need for the style I want. As a test, I braided it over my shoulder and wore it to work. NO ONE suspected it was not all my own hair! One of my coworkers wanted to know how I got the "fat braid" and when I told her it was an extension she didn't believe it. It looked really good indoors and in outdoor light.I highly recommend this particular extension. The quality was good and it withstood the dyeing I had to do to match. I wish I had hair color that matches what they have, because even out of the bag it looked good.

Overall, I think these are worth $10! They are fun to wear every once in a while and pretty easy to throw in. BUT be warned, you can NOT use heat on these which makes it tricky to blend with your own hair! (I didn't read the tag fully and I tried it and it seriously fried the small piece I attempted to curl.) If you are looking for good daily extensions, I would keep searching and pay more $$$.

So the quality is great for the price however it didn’t work for me. I have shoulder length hair that is very thick and I just couldn’t blend my hair with the extensions. I really loved the quality so I’ll be keeping it to use it for my Jasmine costume in Oct. I think if your hair is already long and needs volume then this is perfect for that

The line snapped pretty much as soon as I put them on.

The color was great. I was looking to add more hair around the frame of my face. These stopped close to my ear. They are worth a shot unless you are looking for more around the face.

I ordered the dark brown which is the color of my hair but the dark brown extensions were no where close, so I am reordering the black brown. I would recommend going a shade darker bc the dark brown pics aren’t accurate in color. Other then the color the product is soft, it’s comfortable, easy to install, comes with a comb. Beautiful on! I love them.
