Works Well
This is a review of the Linte LT-FS550 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter. How I rate my reviewed items:Personal preference or comments about the instructions do not affect the star rating.5 Stars – I found no faults with the item.4 Stars – The item functions well but could be improved.3 Stars – The item does work as intended but with some difficultly and needs improvement.2 Stars – The item sort of works as intend but has several limitations or a major fault.1 Star – The item either does not work properly, is very difficult to use, and, in my opinion, not worth purchasing.Overall, this unit seems to function as intended and is worth purchasing.Details:Pros:1. The display is easy to read.2. The display automatically rotates.3. It is comfortable when on the finger, not too tight.4. It seems to have good repeatability.Cons:1. The battery cover is difficult to remove. Normally this would not be an issue, but the cleaning instructions state: “Please shut down and remove the battery before cleaning.” They also state to clean the unit before and after every use.2. The battery compartment direction insertion symbols are very difficult to see. The direction sheet picture does show the correct direction if you look carefully at it.3. I find the print on the direction sheet is a bit small.4. There are no instructions for attaching the Lanyard, or even a picture showing the attachment point. There are 2 small holes that I pushed the short end of the lanyard through and then pushed the long end through the short end loop to secure it as shown in the photo.
