This item was sent from the United States and had 120 voltage rating not 240v and is not possible to be used in the UK. It also didn’t have a UK plug. The voltage rating was not mentioned in the advert. This item had to be returned. Don’t order this from the UK.

I was shopping for a long-single slot toaster to replace my old "Braun"I prefer the long-single-slot as it acomodates sourdough slices, bagels and buns.Couldn't find one locally,This one arrived & appears to be quality item.Reheat and Defrost functions welcome additions.Why the Cover? I cannot forsee taking a toaster on a picnic, BUT I use the cover always as it keeps the toaster clean

I'm not super picky about toasting evenly etc. I've been using this for a month, it's been doing well, I like the extra space on the counter. it fits bagels and thicker bread too (like the ciabatta bread from costco) I like the simple controls & they're on the front instead of the side.

I retired my 20+ year old toaster and was skeptical that I could find one I could like as much. We'll, I've had this one for a month or so and use every day and it works great! And looks good to boot. I do have to change the setting only when I use raisin bread with loads of raisins. Would definitely recommend it.

Thought I would get a toaster oven cause the bread I eat is a round loaf and I hated having to cut it in half to toast it. Realized I didn’t need a big bulky toaster oven, just a toaster that would fit my bread. I just love the one long slot! It’s perfect for my bread. Toasts well and love that I don’t have to dig down for toast, it ipops up well above slot when toasted. A 5 star toaster.

Due to the unique 'saddle' design of toaster's top, the toast is very easy to remove; no more having to 'fish' after the toast. However, it does not evenly toast across the top 1/2 to 1 inch of the bread, due to not lowering deep enough into the toaster. The difference in the degree of toasting was not enough of an issue to consider returning.
