Fiona WattBaby's Very First Touchy-feely Animals Play Book: 1 (Baby's Very First Books)

We didn't plan to buy new books for our second child as we have a lot of books already, but I initially saw this in a garden centre and thought it was really lovely. The colours are very vivid, it covers a variety of animal habitats and there are lots of cut out shapes and textured areas for baby to feel. The board pages are nice and thick and it feels really well made. My only criticism, if I had to make one, would be that there aren't enough words. I like to read the words out and they are just noises, I don't have a very good imagination to be able to make up narrative to help make it interesting.

Kids love it

This book have saved many bus trips. There’s a lot to see and touch. Good quality. I recommend it for babies around 10 months up to two years.

Toddler loves this book - the bright colours and different textures are perfect for a 1 year old

These books fascinate my 7 year old time and time again. - There is so much going on on every page and lots to scratch and feel. This is the second in the range I have bought and am very impressed. Nice size to use at home and when travelling.

My 9 month old daughter absolutely loves this book. The bright colours and different textures hold her attention well and the monkey on the front cover makes her giggle and scream! I can imagine this book being a favourite for years to come.

This books is amazing. Very well made, very colorful and it has different layers and textures. Our baby loves it.

Wir haben uns nun schon das dritte Buch aus der Reihe bestellt und sind total begeistert. Mein Sohn (acht Monate) spielt etwa seit zwei Monaten liebend gern mit diesen Büchern. Die Farben sind wunderschön und die tollen Bilder laden zum Entdecken ein. Außerdem gibt es viele Fühlelemente. Eines der Bücher haben wir immer mit dabei.

Engaging for infants with bright images and textures..

Great for toddlers

C'est un livre d'une extrême richesse. Un livre à toucher . L'enfant aura plaisir à suivre le parcours des animaux et le parent ou la maîtresse aura beaucoup de choses à raconter: le nom des animaux , le lieu où on les trouve .... et l'enfant beaucoup des questions à poser . En classe, il conviendrait plutôt en grande section.

My daughter picks this book every story time! I like these touch and feel books because there are multiple tactile parts on each page. Countless things for little ones to discover.
