It does it's job well.
I bought this originally to clip onto my dogs collar and have my home automation system alert me when the BLE signal was lost. Unfortunately the signal in the house was not the greatest for this usage and it lost connection too many times. I now have it on my keys and the app on my phone. The two are never more than a few feet apart so all is good.

This tracker works really well, It has been attached to my car key after the last one was lost and the replacement cost £150. My phone beeps when It is out of Bluetooth range with the tracker and the tracker beeps if I forget my phone. No problems with this device, it just does its job.

Sadly , this device is unlikely to prevent you leaving something behind.
I read as many tech reviews and purchaser reviews to make an informed decision, but this item does NOT live up to the hype. I bought it specifically to alert me if I left behind small but valuable equipment , the sales pitch says the 'Safety Mode' prevents loss by this means. Well, very much like a previous Amazon reviewer I found:-1). I could not consistently get ANY audible alert from the device when I left it behind.2). The audible alert , when it did operate (checked all the settings in the app & on the phone) was so QUIET I could not hear it on the phone if the phone was in my pocket.3) The audible alert consisted of about a one / two second set of Quiet tones. It was too short to be of any value and it DID NOT REPEAT if ignored.4) All attempts to give feedback on the App , through the App feedback mechanism failed.5). Much of the info on the app is just sale pitch , not of any use to users.Sadly my conclusion is that the device is of no value to me in respect of the prime reason for my purchasing it. In writing the this review I appreciate that there is no sense in keeping it , and so I will return it to Amazon.

Nice idea, poor execution
I bought this to prevent me from losing my car keys. Unfortunately, in the first 3 months since purchase, I dropped my keys once and the Lapa device came apart (fortunately I saw where the pieces went to so could put it back together) and more recently the plastic where it attaches to my key ring has snapped rendering the device pointless.It's a nice idea with a basic albeit functional app but unfortunately the quality of the materials used is very poor and as such I can't recommend it the product.

I like this product
I like this product, for the price i must say i expected a bit more. You can definitely hear the tracker when you ring it, it's loud enough but under a pillow it become quite faint. The tracking works but seems like it makes finding your key more of a game than ease. I must say to use this tracker swiftly you need to have a good idea of where you might have lost your key. And it also takes quite a while to connect to your phone. But i think it is alright, not sure if i would purchase it again. Feel free to leave any questions.

A few quid on Lapa saves ££££sss and heartache ( common sense costs nothing losing goods costs more)
Lost summat in the past. Don't think twice get a lapa tracker you won't lose anything again. I have my keys mobile laptop mobile scooter all on lapa and I know 24/7 where they are to within ft.Do yourself a favour buy a few save money on PnP and save your goods from going A.W.O.L then there's no tears and to set up its a couple a child can do it.

Range is awful.
Bought a week ago. Tested OK.When it came to actually needing it it kept saying "keep moving"When I eventually found my keys, without the aid of the Lapa it was still telling me to "Keep moving". It would not work even when next to the phone.An absolute waste of £20
