Great gift for a tween or young girl, or even a teen who enjoys arts and craft. It's a craft kit that makes friendship bracelets, I'm sure you're familiar with these types of craft kits -- like making necklaces or headbands, earrings, etc. It comes with various strands of thread that's inside of a hidden side slot that you have to pull the tray out; so that's very cool for storage as a lot of these kits just come with stands everywhere and no place to store them. There are directions for how to make the bracelet, but it's kind of like a crochet or knitting loom, in my opinion; so it should be easy for most people to figured out.

I selected this kit to give as a gift to my niece as a gift. It’s very nicely packaged and has quite a nice selection to make a bracelet.She’s crafty but it looks easy to do. I’m sure it will be fun as well.

Makes it easy to keep track of the threads. Nice choice of basic colors, all precut. It has a handy storage for keeping the threads in but they don't always lay flat and nice. its been dropped a few times and hasn't broken which is nice.

I like how this bracelet maker has a special drawer for thread storage and is built. The kids did have to help each other at the beginning, but once I placed the loom on an anti-skid mat to keep it from sliding, they seemed to have an easier time. This is neat idea, and the kit has everything you need to start making bracelets.

This is a very simple little unit, made of sturdier plastic than what I was expecting. The only thing in the box was the bracelet maker and one sheet of instructions. Having bought this for my 10 year-old granddaughter, I wish the instructions were a bit clearer because I’m not sure that she’ll be able to use this on her own without help from an adult, at least for the first bracelet. I’ve used similar products in the past for ‘knitting’ hats so I’m sure it will be fun for my granddaughter once she gets the hang of it. Just hope she doesn’t get discouraged first.As I said before, the maker is made of a nice, strong plastic that should hold up if it’s taken care of. There is also a drawer for storing the bracelet thread, some of which is included. I plan on buying more thread (embroidery floss) to include with the kit, hoping that making bracelets will be an ongoing project!Overall, it’s a solid little kit but in my opinion, not for as young a child as advertised.

My daughter learned how to make these bracelets in camp and would make them just using the thread and a safety pin. But it was easy to forget where you were on your knot pattern and make mistakes.Therefore I thought this kit would be fun and make it a bit easier.The kit feels more solid than I expected. And it is cute that the thread is in a little drawer - but it is priced a little higher than I expected. I got it when it was $29, and this feels more like a $20 item.So it feels a little over priced for what it is - but it is cute - and my daughter likes it!

So I got this for our daughter who is just starting to make friendship bracelets. We loved that it was instruction to do new bracelets, plus it holds the strings well, and strings are pre-cut. So it’s very easy to start and now my daughter wants to give one to her besties so they can make bracelets together. So worth gifting
