Wonderful product and amazing value
I had been trying unsuccessfully to shape a difficult broken tile in the kitchen which needed to fit round a small radiator pipe and around the corner of a door. I didn't realise there was a tile cutting disc that would fit onto my Makita angle grinder. Thank goodness for Amazon reviews. It's easy to fit and not too difficult to master the use of it so the tile was shaped quickly and easily. Once the initial cut is done you can gently remove any excess from the side of the tile.

Very high quality blade
I used these blades to get through some very hard porcelain floor/wall tiles. I had struggled to cut holes using diamond hole saws due to their toughness, and was burning through the dry cut bits. I therefore ordered another three blades as I only had two to do the whole job. I didn't need to have reordered.I am wary of buying cheaper tools and consumables, but for things like sand paper, jigsaw blades etc. I sometimes go cheaper and know I will throw them away more often, but save overall. I wasn't sure about these, but have to say they are a very good quality blade.Using them dry on a Makita 115mm 12000 rpm angle grinder I have been able to cut around 10 meters through the same tiles using just one blade... that looks as good as new. The cuts are very clean, the blade is good enough that you can make dead straight cuts if you are competent enough with a steady hand and I have actually enjoyed using making the cuts as they have been so easy.Highly recommended.

Great value blade
Used these a lot. I am a keen DIYer and buy a new one of these any time I start a new tiling job. Need changing regularly as they soon dull and start to cause chipping on the cuts.

Good value
Cheaper than Bosch by far but not nearly as good. Left ragged edges on my porcelain tiles.

Value, value, value
I've not tiled in a few years and undertook a new bathroom, walls and floor about 35 square meters in total. Large format pocilaine and ceramic. Something like 30 cuts mostly in floor tiles 10mm thick. Straight cuts with tile cutter but some just couldn't be done that way so enter the angle grinder and this blade. No issues at all. Let the blade do the cut with little pressure and away it goes. Practice on waste tiles if you haven't done it before. It was more flexible than my wet table cutter which made me wetter than the tile. This is of course a dry cut. Edges do chip but that was as much about my technique as the disc but the results are invisible. Also I was able to profile and chamfer edges on occasion. My biggest gripe..... You can't just buy it outright. But as a disc, for its rediculously low cost and functionality, I'm not sure there is better value to be had.

Diamonds are forever (but not discs)
Price definitely reflects the quality. The discs degrade slightly quicker than more expensive discs, and I must admit that I chickened out using them on a few complex and awkward angles that I couldn’t afford to damage and used a better quality disk. They are really made for the D.I.Y. market and not heavy duty professional use. but with a little care and attention and avoiding putting too much pressure on the disk or the tile, I was able to successfully cut 35 600x300x8mm Porcelain floor tiles, with relatively few nicks and no breaks. Discs are quite thick so if measurements are critical, you need to be fairly accurate about cutting on the correct side of your line, or you could easily find yourself cutting into the area of the tile you want to keep.Good for the price. Although if you want a pro experience and virtually zero chips then you will need to buy thinner and more expensive discs like Rubi or Marcrist, but then you’re paying around 7x the price. Wear eye protection and a breathing mask as tile fragments and dust get everywhere.
